Stayed at Rubi's inn for 3 nights just after Easter. The couple who own and run the hotel are some of the nicest people we have met. They gave us suggestions of what to do and where to eat and were always asking how we were doing and had great big smiles! The young girl who cleaned the rooms was...

The owners were super welcoming and caring. They had our rooms cleaned everyday, and when we had a problem with the toilet leaking, they came in and fixed it right away. This hotel is right on the bay, so in the mornings it's perfect to go sit on the dock or lay in a hammock in the late afternoon. There...

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful. The room was lovely- light, airy and incredibly clean. The cleaner is amazing! Great shower with hot water. The fridge in the room was welcome and the little shared kitchen was good for snacks. The outside space is nice, the laundry service was quick and the Rubis are lovely lovely...

Where do I start? My husband and I stayed here two glorious weeks and did not want to leave! Rosa and Tony are just the kindest, sweetest people ever. The rooms were unbelievably clean, and cleaned thoroughly everyday by a very sweet girl. The linens and towels were changed daily. We never had any issues with bugs or untidiness. The...

I tore myself away from Rubi's Inn last weekend having stayed there for a week. It's SO lovely there. I was getting dorm-fever so treated myself to private room #9, for $24 a night, to ensure peace, relaxation & sleep. Toni & Rosa could not have been better guesthouse owners. Utilan born, their big hearts and welcoming manner are evident...

Utila town is nice but can also be quite busy with all the bars and diveshops. If you're looking for a nice relaxing homestay, Rubi's Inn is your place. This place actually gives you the feeling you're on an island! Rooms are spacious, well maintained and cleaned every day! It's centrally located but still very quiet and their private hangout...

So I will say that this is possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. The view is also lovely as there is a private dock. There is NO hot water regardless of what the signs say and the wifi doesn't ever work. There is a kitchen available for use but take matches with you as the propane stove...

We stayed in Rubi's for 5 nights, while taking our Advanced Open Water Certification in Parrots Diving Center. We loved the room, as well as the common area with the dock and the hamacas! If you like snorkeling, there's a little fisher boat that sunk near the hotel's deck, nice to explore.

Beautiful views, right on the sea, with plenty of hammocks from where you watch the sunset with a beer. It has its own dock for swimming/snorkelling. The rooms are spacious and clean and the price is reasonable. Also conveniently situated on the main road (yet still peaceful), and a very short walk to the centre of town. A previous reviewer...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for almost 2 weeks and loved it - although it's virtually right in the centre of town it's very quiet and chilled out. Also, because it's so quiet it attracts couples and older guests so you don't have any party animals crashing in at 3am and waking everyone up. As a result we met...
