I went here to Paya because I had been there before with my family and friends who I took to eat. That's the very first reason I went back, I knew the owners,. They are very hospitable and personable and complements perfectly with their Eco-firendly resort that is just abundat with native trees and wildlife. The chefs are the best...

My husband and I trekked in a rental car from West Bay to experience this resort, and spend a day in the sun and water there. We arrived hungry, were completely taken aback by the beauty of the resort and restaurant, enjoyed a lovely lunch, and spontaneously decided to stay the night, even before seeing the rooms or the 20...

Although we did not stay here we visited for lunch on three of the six days we were in Roatan. We had hired a car and drove up 'just for lunch' wondering what it would be like. When we walked into the restaurant we were immediately welcomed by the staff and owner. It's possible to sit indoors or outside and...

What a discovery! Paya Bay Resort is located in a stunning location amidst rocky outcroppings and sandy beaches, with natural paths connecting everywhere. We knew as soon as we arrived that this vacation would be unforgetable. The resort is well designed to receive everyone, yet there are so many intimate, secret settings, we felt the constant curiosity to find the...

Wonderful small hotel . Themed weeks ( naturist, fitness, relaxation, yoga etc). Family run place with small caring and attentive staff. Wonderful home cooked Honduran/Caribbean food. Small bit of paradise on private forested point surrounded by great snorkeling. A bit far from town but if you are looking for relaxation and good snorkeling you won't miss it.

Great to walk around the grounds, hang on the beach or go for a kayak trip. We thought it looked like a great place for a small wedding.

We spent a week at Paya Bay earlier this month, and enjoyed our most relaxing vacation experience ever. The property is beautiful and serene, the service is friendly and attentive, and the experience can be as varied as you choose. While privacy abounded, there was a strong sense that we were part of the Paya/McNab family as soon as we...

Can't say it any better than the last poster. We were down there the same time as they were and enjoyed relaxing. We did do the Mangrove tour and did enjoy that. The owners and staff were great and the food good. Lobster on Sunday night was a treat and the food was good for most of the week. I...

Just returned from 7 days at Paya Bay and can't wait to return. We booked the GEE package with all the adventures included, but ended up not wanting to leave the resort. The owners and staff make you feel like you're the most important guests at all times and were very accomodating to every request. If you want to get...
