What a vibe! - First of all the facilities are world-class. Add to that an excellent view. Add to that the remote part of Roatan. Add to that excellent food. Add to that Yoga in the face of a sunset. And finally, add to that a beautify beach and you won't want to leave. I highly recommend this resort to...

This place was awesome. We were on a Carnival Cruise and wanted to get away to someplace not crowded with hundreds of "Cruisers". We researched Paya Bay and decided to rent a car and make the hourish drive. Since this is a small resort, there were only about 5 couples on the whole beach. We only had to pay $5...

Paya Bay Resort is the most amazing place in the Bay Islands. I went on a day trip to the beach with friends, took a walk along the many pathways in the resort and was completely mesmerized by the natural beauty. Looks like its been design by people who appreciate nature and relaxation.

Being a small and family owned and run resort with total guests being usually about 8-10 couples, it's hard to believe the service and amenities. For instance, rooms with a view (some extending over a cliff where you can sleep and listen to waves breaking under your window --most nights we slept with windows open and A/C off); breakfast in...

I had a great experience at the restaurant on my previous visits...not this time. There was one other couple in the restaurant besides us. It took long time to get our appetizer We order a shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. The shrimp were warm and small. I am guessing they were frozen; not what I would have expected from an...

My wife and I just got back from our second visit to Paya Bay, and we can't wait to go back! Such a peaceful place, you'll feel like you're all alone under the sun. The smell of the ocean air, the soothing rhythm of the surf, the breeze rustling through the palm trees... you'll be in heaven. The grounds are...

We are nearing the end of our extended stay here for this year and are happy to report that it’s been awesome! Past privacy issues for naturists have been addressed extensively by the installation of a coded security gate and a day pass program. There have only been a few unregistered “walk ins” and they have been quickly asked to...

Paya Bay certainly means well and if we lived in the Americas then this resort would certainly become a regular holiday spot for us as there are not many places where snorkelling and nudism are both on the agenda. However crossing the Atlantic with the difficulties in flight connections and stop overs has probably diluted the attraction for us. If...

Enjoyed our stay and wished we were able to stay longer. I agree with most of the other reviews but will add a couple of things. The resort infrastructure is rather basic but nice and fits in with the natural setting. Wood and stone. There are little path ways carved out of the rock and bush that connect everything together....

We were planning to arrive in Roatan on a cruise ship and looking for a place that was not going to be crowded by all the other passengers. Paya Bay resort turned out to be the perfect solution for a one day trip. We arrived at 8AM and were greeted outside the sea port by Arnie. The 1 hour drive...
