So this review is meant to help out folks who have not yet been to Roatan or Reef House Resort and briefly touch on some areas not already mentioned in previous reviews. My wife and I just returned from a one week vacation at RHR. We arrived on Saturday and left on the following Saturday. As you guessed this was...

A wonderful throwback to the early days of diving, this place must be like how diving was in the 80-90s. 12 'cabin' -like accomodations that were just a step or two above basic. It's simple, but the 'resort' has satellite TV in every room and wifi worked pretty much all the time, except when the storms came in and interrupted...

This is a great place to stay if you want to dive the east end of Roatan. This side has very low traffic, therefore the reef is pristine. The owners go out of there way to make you feel welcome. They have been updating the bathrooms and they are looking great. The dive team is awesome as well.

If you love beautiful, pristine reefs with plenty of marine life, and no other dive boats around, this is your place. Clean, comfortable accommodations, friendly, helpful staff, good food, and amazing diving! Year after year, we keep going back.

If your looking a place that is off the beaten path, check this place out. If your expecting a 4 star room, this is not the place. The place sits on water's edge, the rooms are basic. The west end of the island is more upscale bars and hotels, where most of the tourist hang out. This place is located...

This is a very cool place to visit and stay. Plusses: It's very safe and secure and right on the beach. Rooms are nice and clean and you can hear the surf as you fall to sleep. The prices are reasonable and the staff is awesome in a place where most businesses have never heard of customer service. Minuses: The...

Out of the way small resort for Scuba diving and fishing. This place has about 11 rooms and sits right on the ocean. The room could use a little face lift, but remember you only sleep there. The rest of the time you are fishing or scuba diving (it is clean). The owner Dave is very personable and is around...

I spent a very relaxing week at Reef House Resort. It was exactly what I expected. Nothing fancy; just a fantastic location and amazing diving. Yes, it is removed from the activity of West End. But that is exactly what I wanted. If you need the Ritz Carlton, then Reef House probably is not for you. But if you want...

It is a diver's dream (30 years PADI certified). Took my kids in February. Came back with my daughter in May. Just the place for a laid back family vacation. The location is privileged. You sleep a hundred yards away from the world's second largest barrier reef. Rooms are super clean, good beds. The grounds are kept bug free. The...
