It was a bit of a let down after Finca Tatin since you could hear the hustle and bustle of the city, the crows were going nuts and the town had a more working town, industrial feel to it. We stayed in a bungalow that did not have a private bathroom, you had to walk out side to go to... More

My wife and I stayed for one night on our way to Belize. Was recommended by the young girl whom we bought tickets for ferry to Punta Gorda, Belize. The service was incredible, the staff was extremely friendly. It was clean, the view from the dorm room was spectacular. I strongly recommend for those who are looking for a reasonable... More

The hotel is very small and consisting of some rooms/bungalows facing the river with shared bathrooms. The location is good, but not very central (10-15 minutes from the city hall). You can get there by boat as well, if you like, in fact here is a small dock projecting into the river, where you can seat far from everything at... More

Lovely little hotel with its own gorgeous dock. Rooms are small and the mossie nets make them very warm but they are super clean, as are the bathrooms. We had lunch here and I can recommend the food. Also a few beers watching sunset over the sea - amazing!

I can't say enough about this place. The staff or family that run it are amazing. We did not plan on staying in Livingston but my wife got dengue ( a virus from mosquito bite) and could not travel so we stayed here for two nights and they were amazing. Helped us find the clinic, and were very helpful and... More

They have an amazing dorm woth a lot of space. The best is the view. It's located on the second floor with a view over the bay. In the morning you get wacked up by the sunrise and just have to walk down to enjoy one of their breakfasts. The staff only speaks spanish. I don't speak spanish but they... More

Stayed only one night but really enjoyed it. There are little cabanas that have fans in them. They are basic rooms with mosquito nets, beds and a lamp. You share a communal toilet and shower. Make sure you have your shower early as they do run out of hot water. There is free internet in the main common area. Breakfast... More

Totally recommend this hotel. We stayed two nights and we would stay again. Very very friendly and helpful staff. Very conveniently located near the arrival jetty and right on the edge of the water - see photo. Great value for money. Excellent breakfast. Confortable beds with mosquito nets. Just loved it!

Our first night in livingston we stayed at the African Place didn't feel the cleanest or safest. The next day we stumbled upon casa rosada and had an amazing time here. The cabanas are cute and cozy, the dock is a nice place to hang out day or night, friendly staff, great food, and very quite. We wouldn't have stayed... More

I stayed for 1 night here. For the price, the cabanas were a bargain. The hotel had a good layout and was about a 10 minute walk from the boat dock. Many restaurants were close by. The hotel had wifi, but it was slow. Nicely decorated patio to relax at.
