This property has great grounds, but needs an overhaul. We had no hot water, the wi-fi was as good as useless. We were adjacent to a busy side street that was a bit noisy. Otherwise comfortable little cottage. Breakfast was good, the server was delightful; pancakes excellent.

Lovely breakfast and early morning place to eat that I happened on while in town. It will be some time before I am able to get back and would love to visit them again. I have been trying to get the recipe for their wonderful fluffy pancakes!! No one in the kitchen to ask as to how to make them....

I have stayed at Rancho Grande Inn on several different occasions. Each time I have found it to be immaculate, tranquil, yet close to the may drag and the action. The large grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The single or double rooms are not the least expensive in Panajachel, but they are very reasonable ($45-$65) and they come with...

I went with a group. I stayed in Room #2, which reminded me of a room in a 1960's fleabag hotel along a major highway in the US. The room definitely needed updating. The bathroom walls were so thin that I actually had a conversation with another guest when I turned on the shower. The double rooms seemed to be...

I find myself returning to this comfortable hotel time and again. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfy and the bath is roomy (except #4.) I like to try new places but, I love dependable comfort. The dried eucalyptus leaves from the tree in the yard are pleasant. The fireplaces present in some of the rooms are...

The staff are warm and friendly if overworked and underpaid at this 1940s bed and breakfast. The grounds are lovely and the pool is nice and a good playground by the pool if you have children. The breakfast is good and hearty and good hours to enjoy it. Tuk tuks - small golf cart taxis are less than a dollar....

It is very possible other bungalows than the one my family of five (including three kids under 10) are better than the one we got, so I will be careful not to generalize, BUT ours was simply awful and it was truly unfathomable that we paid $140 for such a dreadful lot (having come from a place in Antigua that...

I recently completed a weekend stay at Rancho Grande Inn, I had stayed there almost 10 years and was pleasantly surprised to see that the standard of quality and service remains high. Our room was spacious, had a chimney and was clean. The room did not feel dated. And please DO NOT miss the FREE breakfast, out of this world...

I imagine that summertime at the pool would be a fun time for youngsters at the Rancho Grande in Panajachel. The location is central, the rooms/cabins are quite nice and the breakfast was very good. Breakfast is across the street from the complex where the rooms are located.

This was our fourth visit to the Rancho Grande Inn! It is very satisfying to be able to return to a place and experience the same peaceful, picturesque, and well appointed accomodation time after time. The staff is all very attentive and helpful, and the breakfast is unmatched. The only suggestion I have is that the rooms be provided with...
