They met me at the airport and provided me with a clean, safe place to stay. I then had a ride to the bus station where they bought my ticket to Xela and sent me off. Breakfast was included and was delicious- even at 5am! I paid a few dollars to have dinner. This place is very close to the...

Lorena at Dos Lunas is a doll. My sister, mother and I stayed with her our first night in to the city and it was a great home base from which we started our trip in Guatemala. Very basic accommodations with friendly and welcoming service plus great food. Highly recommended for budget travel.

It was nice staying here, Lorena and his Holland husband are so enjoyable and we had a so interesting and laughing desayuno in Guatemala. When flying in or out to Guatemala this is a perfect choice, shuttle service is included. Remember: ask them how Germans open the oysters....

I've stayed here 3x and it's the only place I'll stay in Guat City. Really great couple run it, the breakfast is good, the neighborhood is secure and they pick you/drop you at the airport. The best. Have stayed solo and as a couple. Top room with roof access is lovely. Oh! And the hot water is bomb (especially after...

The owners were very helpful in organizing a tour of the city for me and then also helped in confirming my flight reservations. The rooms were comfortable with a very nice sitting area. The whole hotels as very clean. The breakfast served...

My fiancé and I stayed here for one night before flying out. We arrived later in the evening and the owners set us up in a very comfortable room upstairs with an adjacent bathroom. Everything was perfectly clean and the showers actually had hot water- a rare amenity in Guatemala. We had a delicious dinner at the house next door...

The owners of the hotel are very nice, the beds are good and the breakfast tastes good! The airport shuttle is fast, and you dont have to wait for it. For me this was the perfect place to stay near the Guatemala city airport.

The friendly owners made this hotel. They cooked delicious traditional breakfasts, and let us play with their dogs. They also arranged our hotel pick ups and drop off. The rooms were simple but comfortable. Shared bathroom was a bit of a problem as we were a group so all wanted it at the same time. Electric heater above shower head...

Yes, I like to be an independent traveler. But I don't mind when I can take the guesswork out of arriving in a new country, finding a comfortable place to stay, and getting to the bus station for my onward journey. All for a very economical price. I was met at the airport, taken to Dos Lunas, welcomed by very...

My husband and I originally planned for only one 1-night stay. We seriously loved hosts Lorena & Henk so much we stayed here 2 more times in a 2.5 week visit to Guatemala, consciously choosing to spend our last night in this beautiful country in the company and care of these authentically warm, generous, memorable, accommodating, humorous hosts. I About...
