We arrived at the Posada a bit tired of the long drive. The person that opened the door is the lady that works there, she is the one that makes the posada a nice place. She was so welcoming, gave us a map, adviced us...More
My group stayed at this lovely hotel for over a week - on a Mission Trip to Guatemala.
The hosts were like family to us and took care of our every need. Sylvia the housekeeper did our personal laundry for a very small fee.
This lovely hotel not far from the central market is an oasis in Chichicastenango. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, lovingly decorated, and overlook an inviting garden. But what made the hotel so special is the warmth and friendliness of the hosts. Although we only stayed...More

Sorry I can't really help with a phone or address... we never make reservations, preferring to actually lay eyes on the room before signing up! This little posada actually had nothing by way of signage on the street, so luckily we had the address... we beat on the door a while before it was finally opened.
It really was a good stay. If you can't get hold of them and are not arriving at a peak time (Day of the Dead, Christmas, Easter...) it would be worth doing a walk up.
Enjoy your trip!

As I recall, it is not. They do have free coffee in the morning. The owner lives upstairs and might be willing to prepare breakfast for a small cost. He and I got to be friends and I was able to get breakfast there one morning - eggs, toast, marmalade, fruit. Just ask him.
