Cotton Tree Lodge is a quite pricey location that promises 'jungle luxury', but definitely doesn't deliver. We got the all inclusive package, only to find out it didn't include much at all. To reach the Lodge requires a 45 minute drive over the worst roads known to man. And all excursions have this travel or longer. The free wifi is... More

As 98% of the testimonials say, Cotton Tree Lodge is a great experience! In response to this review... Cotton Tree Lodge is a unique experience that provides a Eco Adventure. The remoteness of the lodge (yes its a trek over a bumpy road to get here ) is part of the charm in experiencing the rain forest. Our All inclusive... More

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We just had the most amazing 4 day wedding at Cotton Tree! We packed the place with 75 of our closest friends and family and everyone had a blast. The staff were AMAZING and so wonderful, the food was incredibly delicious (our friends are still talking about it!), the cabanas were so much fun to stay in, and the rope... More

I first went to CottonTree in 2007 shortly after they opened. I came back to visit cacao farms in the area and show my friend some of the archeological sites nearby. CottonTree has gotten better with age! The meals were great and staff friendly and attentive. The grounds are a delight and there is a new wellness cabana with yoga... More

We visited in early June 2016 during the slow season. We were upgraded to the cabana right along the river. The cabanas were rustic, maya insprired huts with thatched roofs. Being Belize, it rained almost every night, a beautiful sound to sleep to. They are spacious inside and out, even chairs and 2 hammock on the front porch for lazy... More

We came to the lodge at the end of April into the beginning of May. The resort is a very secluded and tucked next to a beautiful, lazy river. The staff was very friendly, and they were easily accessible if we needed something such as a fresh coconut during an early morning walk. We loved the fact that there was... More
