Enjoyed our 1-week stay quite a lot. Location is great for walking to everything you could want. It's at the end of the road and was always quiet. We dealt with Tracy and she was just excellent for communication and follow-up and worked with me to change my initial reservation. I would stay here again.

You really cannot beat the view from the beachfront porch. Watching the sunrise with the lovely ocean breeze, while relaxing in a hammock... Hard to beat. The rooms are fine - not for you if you need luxury or daily maid service. Tracy, the manager was very helpful and communicative. Really good wifi.

I have probably stayed at the Trade Winds seven or eight times over the past 15 years. It has a great location right of the pier at the tip of the Placencia peninsula and has cabins right on the beach. My wife and I just spent five days there this past two weeks and as usual had a great time....

Stayed at Trade Winds the last week of February and first week of March of 2017 and had a wonderful stay. There were cabanas directly on the beach to take advantage of that ocean breeze, as well as a slightly off the beach for those who may not like the constant breeze, but still with an ocean view. If you're...

Basic but lovely cabanas right at the tip on the Placencia penisula, The ones closest to the sea are about 15 feet from the water. Water is extremely calm and has a gentle slope so would be great for families. A little bit of snorkeling just off the beach. Can walk to a number of restaurants.

I was the minor victim of a booking mistake. It was no big deal, because, well because its Placencia and everything just flows.Janice, fortunately had a nice clean beach front cabana that suited me perfectly. Happy as gecko laughing on a banana leaf!

Great staff makes you feel very welcome right from the beginning. Our cabana was a cozy little double bed setup with a fridge, microwave and a bathroom. A hammock and a couple of chairs made the porch the most inviting place to stay, the sea only ten or fifteen steps away. Most nights it was wonderfully breezy. You can easily...

The cabanas are perfect for right on the ocean!!! For Four nights I literally could open my door and walk 25 to 50 feet to the ocean!!! The rooms are very quaint and minimal amenities but the luxury of the view just makes up for it entirely!

We stayed at Tradewinds totally coincidentally. We were double booked and Janice (the owner) happened to have a room available. We were really lucky The cabanas are very nice and comfy. They are directly on the beach just 5 steps away from the sea. Only 5 minutes away there is a town center, port and all happenings. But you will...

Nice location as it is near the end of the peninsula. You have several options. I would advise against the cheapest guest rooms as there is little room except for sleeping. The cabanas on the beach are the nicest. Since there is no AC these are also the coolest for sleeping. The place is in need of maintenance and I...
