Stayed here for 6 days during the rainy season and it was the perfect time to come here. There weren't too many people in town. The waves can be heard from your room, and the view is nice to look at every morning and afternoon....More
Can't say enough about this slice of heaven. We stayed in the newly renovated Flip Flop 4 whose sliding doors opened up directly on the narrow beach a mere 25 feet from the Caribbean. A quiet romantic time for us, interspersed with some great activities....More

The hotel does not provide transportation from the airports in Belize City. You can take a puddle jumper from Belize City directly to the airport in Placencia and they will be able to arrange for a pick up from there which is only about 10 minutes from the hotel. The drive from Belize City to Placencia is about 3 hours. I would not recommend doing this drive when it's dark. The roads in Belize are not well lit at night and you will come across about 10-12 short one lane bridges that sneak up on you at night . During the day it is a pleasant drive that is very scenic.
