My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights mid-March 2019. We just had a standard ocean-front room. The room was attractive with a nice balcony that had a great view. The bed was very comfortable. The A/C was good when we turned it on, and there was a fridge, hair dryer,

Short stay before sailing on a charter. The Resort reflects the friendly, more relaxed Placencia. Staff was polite and made us feel welcome and appreciated. Grounds were lush. Really enjoyed our ocean front suite with its own kitchen, bedroom and front patio.

Low key and very relaxing! I would recommend if you are looking for lots of attention and not a big crowd. They are working hard to revitalize and things are starting to look really nice. We had a great stay!

We just got married at Robert’s Grove last month, and could not have asked for a more perfect wedding! The wedding was larger than we anticipated...75 of our family and friends joined us for the party, and the staff at RG was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the week

My husband and I stayed there for 5 days/4 nights in February on an all inclusive plan. We upgraded to a beach front suite. It was roomy but as some other reviewers indicated it was in desperate need of updating. The staff was always courteous and friendly but I had the feeling

I have a house in Placencia so have done both. Flying is quick and the views are great, however the drive is nicer and a car gives you the flexibility to explore on the way. It also makes it easy to get around in the Placencia area. You will most likely end up renting a golf cart while there anyway so might as well get a car from Belize City. The cost will be the same as flying (including your gas) plus the freedom gained! On the drive there is the must see Belize zoo, the inland blue hole, Marie Sharp's hot sauce factory and more. The road is paved all the way and is almost all in quite good condition as there was a lot of maintenance done this year. Mind the speed bumps! They are all over and meant to slow traffic to keep pedestrians, motorcyclists and bicycle riders safe. It is a 3 hour drive. There are a few single lane bridges too. Keep safe and only pass when you are sure it's safe. Locals will sometimes pass anytime! I still recommend driving. Additionally, you can then stay late in town and back to Robert's Grove whenever you want. No shuttle waiting or calling!

No it isn't, breakfast was included and it was great. The two restaurants and drink options are reasonably priced. We really didn't spend that much money while we were staying there and the food and drinks were a lot better than other all inclusives I usually go to.
