My husband and I stayed there for 5 days/4 nights in February on an all inclusive plan. We upgraded to a beach front suite. It was roomy but as some other reviewers indicated it was in desperate need of updating. The staff was always courteous and friendly but I had the feeling

The beach side restaurant was busy when we visited and the staff were friendly and quickly found us a table . Whilst the location is pleasant the food was low quality and a real disappointment even by Belize’s low culinary standards. The whole snapper fish tasted like it had

The resort was fairly quiet, but may be due to it being the off season. Great for a relaxing home base with easy access to downtowns Placencia. We took bikes to Downtown on our first day. It’s a three mile trip and probably took about 30 minutes. It’s a very easy flat ride there

I LOVE Roberts Grove resort! It was beautiful beyond my expectations! The photos on their website so not do justice to the beauty. Our two bedroom suite was so cute, clean and spacious. The breakfast was spectacular. Hugh bowls of fresh fruit, pastry and made to order eggs

We Loved our suite! Set back in time a little which we enjoyed so very much. Our 2 bedroom,2 bath , with a full kitchen/living was set in the tropical trees with a large deck on the 2nd story with a view of the ocean, was perfect. Swimming in the ocean and then walking to the

I have a house in Placencia so have done both. Flying is quick and the views are great, however the drive is nicer and a car gives you the flexibility to explore on the way. It also makes it easy to get around in the Placencia area. You will most likely end up renting a golf cart while there anyway so might as well get a car from Belize City. The cost will be the same as flying (including your gas) plus the freedom gained! On the drive there is the must see Belize zoo, the inland blue hole, Marie Sharp's hot sauce factory and more. The road is paved all the way and is almost all in quite good condition as there was a lot of maintenance done this year. Mind the speed bumps! They are all over and meant to slow traffic to keep pedestrians, motorcyclists and bicycle riders safe. It is a 3 hour drive. There are a few single lane bridges too. Keep safe and only pass when you are sure it's safe. Locals will sometimes pass anytime! I still recommend driving. Additionally, you can then stay late in town and back to Robert's Grove whenever you want. No shuttle waiting or calling!

No it isn't, breakfast was included and it was great. The two restaurants and drink options are reasonably priced. We really didn't spend that much money while we were staying there and the food and drinks were a lot better than other all inclusives I usually go to.
