My girlfriend and I stayed at Caballo Blanco for three nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mike is an outstanding host and deserves high praise for the information he gave us, his genuine hospitality, and the free ride into town and to the airport! In addition, the rest of the staff do an amazing job of taking care of...

Arrived without a reservation (not recommended), and Mike the property manager took us right in with a beautiful cabana style room. The all tiled room and bathroom had an elevated thatched roof that kept the room cool also with a ceiling fan. The bed had a beautiful draping mosquito net in the event of other critters. The swinging chairs in...

Clean room for a good night stay. Chaves was kind enough to grab us a coconut from the tree, and open it up for us to taste. Chatted with manager Rick about the place and got some recommendation on the restaurants. Grace and her daughter made good breakfast- coffee, egg, sausage, fry jack and tamarind juice. The place is not...

Mike was incredibly hospitable and went out of his way, driving us into town, showing our son how to get coconuts, and cut them open. The place feels like you're in the middle of the jungle with expansive views and nature abounding, yet its only a few dollars taxi ride from town, where we tried out restaurants, saw Iguanas and...

I stayed two nights at this hotel and wish to be more! Mike, Ricky and Gracie (the Chef) are great people and treat you like family. The hotel is not the classical city hotel with cheap rugs, this is a cabin in the jungle! You do not have wifi, (at the rooms, only at the reception) nor TV, but you...

We had a thatched hutch cabin with a bath. The lawn was groomed and short so the jungle's mosquitos were kept at bay quite nicely. The lodge also provided a lounge/ patio area in a separate building with Wi-Fi. Food was served daily in a dining room. Grace's cooking gave us a taste of local recipes and was a highlight...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Awesome view right outside our room, a fridge to keep the beer, and love the thatched roof. The staff is amazing and provide individualized attention. Breakfasts were always good and we also had dinner which was very good as well. Highly recommend this place as a base to explore the Cayo region.
