Ka'ana is absolutely fabulous. The bungalows are comfortable and private. The atmosphere is relaxing. The staff is unbelievably accommodating, the excursion guides are exceptionally entertaining and knowledgeable, and the tamales are out of this world--best I've ever had! The highlight of the Ka'ana experience is the extraordinarily talented Willie. He is one of the best masseurs on earth. I highly recommend the hour and a half massage with hot stones! Also, make sure you try the watermelon mojito!

Property's Favourite Review
If I could rate Ka’ana 100 stars I would! Our stay at Ka’ana was absolutely fantastic! From the moment it began to the minute we left every detail was top notch! The staff was beyond friendly and within 7 days became our family. They created an intimate experience that blew us away, making every moment of our elopement memorable. Our room was beautiful with its own private garden and plunge pool to boot! We loved how eco conscious and sustainable everything was. The grounds were perfectly manicured, showcasing all of the flora that could potentially end up on your plate or in your drink that day! The food was OUTSTANDING! Every meal prepared with care and more delicious than I could have imagined! I’m still craving the ceviche! When we weren’t eating everything in site we were enjoying the most blissful massages ever! We had a beautiful elopement ceremony at Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve in the middle of our stay. All the planning of our special day was done with ease! All of my crazy requests (within reason) were granted! The day was filled with love from the time it started until it ended with an amazing dinner in their beautiful wine cellar. Once we were married we still had a few days left for adventure! The different tour’s they have available will make you feel like you’re Indians Jones or Lara Croft Tomb Raider! They are seamlessly curated to give you once in a life time experience! ATM IS A MUST! And don’t miss out on their Mayan Cooking Class if you are any type of foodie! The entire staff contributed to our wonderful time at Ka’ana Resort. I wish I had more words to express the joy I still feel from our trip. I know we will be regular guests at the resort for years to come. If you have any doubts booking at this lovely paradise look no further. Ka’ana Resort is hands down an experience of a lifetime! Whether you want a unique wedding or just want a relaxing vacay this place is simply perfect.

It was my girlfriend’s 50th birthday, and we were looking for a resort in western Belize to be able to explore Mayan ruins and artifacts, enjoy the jungle, and celebrate her birthday. Ka’ana resort checked all of the boxes and more. We booked a Master Suite as part of the “Romance Package”. Our particular suite (#10) had a plunge pool with outdoor shower, and was located on the very end of the property, giving us great privacy but still close to the pool, restaurant, and bar. The management refreshed and updated the entire property during COVID, so everything felt and look brand new. The resort restaurant, La Ceiba, has a limited and pricy menu, but the food is fantastic with generous portions. The couples massage, part of our package, performed on-site at the resort spa by local massage therapist, was one of the best we’ve had. The resort offers private tours with professional, licensed guides to all the local attractions and even out to the beach. At this time, visitors cannot easily cross the Guatemalan border, so Tikal was off the list. The staff was very responsive and professional, catering to our every need. They even decorated their wine cellar for our special 50th birthday celebration dinner. Don’t miss the Maya Cooking Class held in the “Fugon” the traditional Maya cooking site built on the property. One final note, if you want to travel to and from in-style, Ka’ana even has their own heliport. Special thanks to all of the management and staff but especially: Wolfgang, Joelie, Miguel, Josh, Victor, and Venessa for making our stay phenomenal.

The grounds are stunning! Everything is so natural and calming. The rooms and main building are luxuriously maintained. We spent so much time reading, relaxing, walking the gardens, and so much more. Lastly, if the resort itself was not enough, the staff is beyond any expectation. Everyone was always going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We spent so much time visiting and getting recommendations. Victor will certainly great you with an eagerness to help in anyway and Vanessa was overly kind and considerate with the best local recommendations for food and fun. We can only hope to be fortunate enough to visit here again!

My partner and I visited Belize for the first time in May 2021. In total, we stayed at two resorts during our time in Belize, and Ka'ana was our favorite by far. The staff is magnificent, extraordinarily kind, and attentive to every detail. The food and drink from the on site restaurant was spectacular and the massage services helped me to kick off our trip in the most possibly relaxed way. The accommodations were stunning - we stayed in two different rooms during our stay - both were the epitome of clean, well kept, and well serviced. The grounds were well manicured and we especially enjoyed the labels identifying the different trees and plants. We did the Xunantunich and ATM Cave adventures - the guides were very knowledgeable, thoughtful, patient with us, and captured photos for us that we may not have been able to get otherwise. I'm usually behind the camera - and it can be difficult to find people to hand your camera to to have photo memories of your very first trip to Belize...we now have stunning photos as a couple which mean the world to me! We also did the Mayan cooking class which was memorable and the ladies who teach it were so much fun! It our opinion, Ka'ana is not to missed. It will be our first choice for subsequent visits to Belize. The only complaint we have is that our stay wasn't nearly long enough - and that is definitely not Ka'ana's fault. 😂 If you're traveling to Belize, I suggest making Ka'ana your first stop. It is magical, memorable, peaceful, and romantic. Many thanks to the staff and GM who saw to our needs and to the polished perfection that we enjoyed.
