Very nice secluded resort, perfect for a honeymoon getaway! The feel of the resort is very laid back with friendly staff members. There are quite a few stairs to walk up if you are staying in the mountain view suites but the views are worth it.

I really can't add anything to the other glowing reviews other than to confirm them. Great staff, top notch accommodations, beautiful views and locale. Recommend the onion soup when they have it and the feta and watermelon salad. Really too much food served for lunch and dinner entrees - best to split unless you're a big eater or don't care...

Wow, where do I begin?! This is the greatest place I've ever been! The only thing better than the whole vacation was the staff! From the moment you step foot on the property, you become the first priority to every single staff member. Even staff you meet just once, will remember your name and where you're from the whole entire...

Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge is extraordinary. The Spanish Casitas are among the nicest accommodations I have seen anywhere in the world. The staff is incredibly friendly and empathetic. You feel that you are sharing the home of a good friend. All the facilities are first rate. The food is varied and fresh. My wife and I stayed for 12 days....

A beautiful property in the jungle with a tropical garden. A large private and stylish cottage with a huge bathroom and an outside jacuzzi. Exceptional service, good food. Nice pool area- during the day you are mostly alone. They organize excursions and transfers. So- a beautiful place to relax for a few days.

Sleeping Giant Lodge is a beautiful resort, with outstanding rooms and great hospitality. I stayed here twice in the last year, once in May 2016 with a friend and then in March 2017 with students I took to Belize. On my first trip I had a Mountain View room that had both an indoor and an outdoor shower, and a...

Sleeping Giant Lodge is heaven. A small resort in the middle of a tropical jungle, you may do as little or as much as you like. The Spanish casitas as beautifully appointed with a large bedroom and bath, a beautiful covered veranda with a hammock and even an outdoor tub in a secluded walled garden. Food is basic and good,...

The most amazingly beautiful, romantic and lush tropical setting overlooking a river valley planted with orange groves. Everywhere the sounds of water in streams, ponds and pools and exotic flowers, birds and butterflies make it feel like paradise. Our River View room was large, airy and modern with a spacious covered patio with plush furniture and a hammock. The tiled...
