We stayed over New Years, the service was great, the property was beautiful, and the adventures were great. This is a great jungle escape, but is far from roughing it. Mostly though, the service was fantastic. Everyone was tremendously kind and made our stay so much fun.

Our stay at Sleeping Giant Rainforest Lodge was a dream come true! We stayed in the Mountain View Suite (#5 at the top) and it was even more beautiful than the pictures portray! We stayed for 4 nights and made the most of every amenity. Some of our favorites were riding bikes down the road to the orange orchard, kayaking...

The lodge is located in what feels like the middle of nowhere in the mountains with beautiful views on all sides. We were in love the view from our room, River View 2. The room itself was beautiful, with a patio with seating and a hammock, and a private outdoor shower that we used many times a day. Before we...

We visited in December. The hotel is very nice. The pool was really pretty. The food was kind of average. Some of the items on the menu were really good, but it was somewhat hit or miss. We really went because we wanted to do the ATM cave and the waterfall jumping. The ATM cave was incredibly amazing and totally...

I am so thankful to have stayed at Sleeping Giant. Typically I go the budget route but I saw the pictures and couldn't resist, and as soon as we pulled up to the hotel I knew I wouldn't regret it. Pictures cannot begin to describe this beautiful resort and the lush landscaping, and my review can't describe the personable service....

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sleeping Giant Lodge. It is as beautiful as the pictures make it look. I would have given it a perfect rating but I have stayed at a few other jungle places that are just a bit better but none of them in Belize. The food was good. Not excellent but way above average...

We booked this as part of a rain forest/beach through Viva Belize. First, United lost my wife's bag for 4 days. Amelia, the manager, was magnificent. She contacted the airport several times per day and also brought clothes from the nearest town (about 20 minute drive) to see if they would fit. Food and service also very good and staff...

Great staff and accommodations made for a well rounded trip. Rooms were great and felt like a resort should. Staff explained any questions that were asked and were very helpful in telling us about the culture and wildlife that are found in the area.

After reading all the excellent reviews about the Sleeping Giant, we were very excited about staying here, and generally, our expectations were met. We had a great introduction (and a complimentary rum punch) to the lodge upon arrival. Our Spanish casita was beautiful and huge! We had the choice of using our equally large indoor shower, or our private outdoor...

We spent 4 days/nights at Sleeping Giant which has been very carefully built in the jungle. We spent one night in a Mountain View room followed by 3 nights in the Spanish Casitas. Both rooms were acceptable although the casitas are far more spacious and more private. If you are visiting this lodge it is really a base to pursue...
