Our extended family of 19 spent a fantastic week here. Becky and her staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They will interact with you as much or as little as you want...it is your choice! All of our meals were delicious and plentiful. The fresh fish each night was out of this world. We had great fun...

Make sure to bring a bug net. Sand fleas were awful here. I had to wear bug spray all the time and still got bit over and over again. No power and light at all when it gets dark so bring lots of flash lights. Service was alright. Don't expect a lot! The owners and workers here don't say uch...

We did a lot of travelling in our lives but we have never experienced anything like this before. This is not because of the lack of comfort but of kindness and respect. During the whole stay we didn’t feel welcomed. We felt like the owner Betty doesn’t like tourists. Here are some examples why we felt that way: On arrival...

I visited GAR a few years ago with my boy. We had a great time. But I can see why some people are complaining. It's NOT the place to go if you want to be coddled at all. If you want to be "taken care of", go somewhere else. If you're the type that is going to freak out about...

We have been visiting Glover's Atoll Resort for the past 8 years and I never get tired of it. 1 week is barely enough time to settle in, I recommend 2 weeks. This is not a resort in the classic sense. No electricity or water in your cabin. Leave your blow dryer at home! If you like stars, the sound...

We recently returned from a 1 week stay at Glover's Atoll to celebrate Steve's 60th birthday and enjoy island life in Belize. The scuba diving was wonderful with professional, fun-loving staff. Snorkeling was very good and easily done by kayaking a short distance or swimming. Our cabana, just steps from the Sea, was clean and roomy. We chose not to...

This was the front end of a "romantic" adventure trip for my wife and I, chosen by her! Island glamping at its best. Great staff, food, ambience, but you can't control mother nature. After day 1, high winds and thunderstorms affected days 2 and 3. Limited visibility in reefs and rough waters. Of course, this can happen anywhere and /or...

I went to Glover's Atoll with several other students of a private school. We had a fairly young group of students and it was really a brilliant experience. There was great snorkeling and canoeing, and the people there were all extremely kind and hospitable. Hundreds of hermit crabs come onto the beach at night and it made for an amazing...

We had a blast on this remote coconut island. We bought food and water for the whole week in Dangriga and hitchhiked to Sittee River where you DON'T want to stay as it was disgusting. The website needs to be updated as buses don't run anymore so make good inquiries before going. The place itself is magic with beautiful coral...

An exquisite Carribian island experience with simple life at a high level. A fantastic alternative to the over-serviced alternatives And what culinaric miracles the cooks made in that small restaurant kitchen!! Don't go there if you want luxury accommodation and full service But go there if you want a real island experience in the middle of the most fantastic sea
