My wife and I just returned from a fabulous trip to Belize with Island Expeditions. It was our first trip to Belize and we wanted to experience both land and water. Upon landing at the international airport in Belize City, we flew 15 minutes south to Dangriga where we were met by an Island Expeditions staff member who drove us...

We were booked to stay at Glovers Reef Atoll for 3 days. We arrived at the dock in Dangriga with high winds and rain blowing sideways. We were a little surprised to see that our boat did not have a roof and that we were to make the trip out to the Atoll in the current weather! We were soaking...

Dear Rose - so sorry the experience did not meet your expectations. Our field reports concur that the weather was truly horrible during your days at Glover's. Being in a remote location 40 miles out to sea, it can happen when the weather has the upper hand - in this case two days of unseasonably torrential rain and high winds....

The nite before I was to leave Sun morning for the 6 day trip, the owner out of the blue canceled me, leading me to near panic (it was quite traumatic), since this was the real reason I had come to Belize to experience--the best snorkeling around. Without making a long story out of it, suffice it to say, she...

We did the Glover's Getaway and Kayak Rental Combination for our five year anniversary. The trip more then exceeded our expectations! If go into the trip knowing it is not a luxury resort but a remote adventure then you will not be disappointed. Glover's is nothing short of paradise and the staff of Island Expeditions is amazing. The kayaking and...

I just returned from the Island Expeditions Paradise Islands tour and everything about it was awesome. From the moment I called the Dangriga office from Houston because of flight delays, I felt safe and taken care of. They made all needed accommodations for me to meet up with my group the following day. The guides, Omar and KMike, were amazing....

We did the 2.5 day trip. We were at the Dangriga office at 7:30 am and left shortly after. The food was great, much better than I expected on a small Caye, and they were very considerate of our dietary restrictions, The tents were comfortable with painted plywood floors, real beds, and both interior and exterior window flaps, kerosene lantern....

We did the "Ultimate Adventure" tour with Island Expeditions. It includes: Zoo Tour ($10 extra) - see nocturnal animals at night. Informative and fun. ATM Cave Tour - a fantastic experience both swimming through cold pools of water and learning about the crazy things Mayans did inside this mysterious cave. Sea Kayaking and Snorkelling - beautiful island setting but the...

We just spent four nights on Glover's Island at the Basecamp. It's not the most luxurious camping we've ever done, but, all in all, a good experience. The guides were helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic. The food was excellent - something different every day, and the chef took into account my gluten intolerance and made sure I had plenty to eat....

The reviews for this are fair and pretty much sum up the experience. I booked the 2night/3day trip and had a great time despite some inclement weather. It is well-organised and the staff both in the office and on site are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Great food; Lady D is a superb cook. My tent had a fantastic view of...

It's been over a year since we were at Glover's Reef but it has not yet been forgotten. We were looking for a holiday that would incorporate a little physical activity combined with some relaxation for out 10th wedding anniversary celebration. This trip did not disappoint! I think the trip was a fair representation of what was advertised and although...
