You don't get many extras at the Ocean Pearl - it's pretty basic. But the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location is good and the price is right. It was also a 2 minute walk to Frenchie's diving, which is owned by Gertraud's son and is also good.

A short walk from the center where are most bars and restaurants, but close to the Split, the place to hang out during the afternoon for cocktails and sun-bathing. Very quiet, unlike people mentioned in many comments, we were not bothered by Wish Willy's music. The owner, Ms Novelo, cleans the rooms everyday and keeps the main area spotless. There... More

This hotel has economical and , very clean rooms. It feels a safe place to stay .Gertrude is helpful , knowledgable without being pushy. She doesn't try to be your friend but is happy to advise when ever you ask. I loved the fact that it is in a side street and is quiet . The lobby and out door... More

Very nice hotel near the beach (but isn't every place on Caye Caulker near the beach). Very pleasant and quiet. Clean rooms. Two nice seating areas outside and a comfortable lobby. Definately will try to stay here when we next visit Caye Caulker.

This is not a waterfront property, but I would argue that is not mandatory in Caye Caulker. The prices really make this place worth it. I've stayed twice, and I enjoyed the fact the hotel is tucked in off the main road...it makes for a more tranquil visit.

Spent a couple of nights at this clean, quiet hotel. On the northern end of the island near the split. Coffee and a refrigerator is available for guests. There are also complete casitas, I believe. Very comfortable.

I really enjoyed staying here. Clean rooms, nice grounds, very secure, helpful host and good wifi. The hotel is located up towards the split which is a perfect location for swimming and has everything within short walking distance, but far enough so that its nice and peaceful. The free water and morning coffee was great and Maggie's kitchen is only... More

Once again here for a stay at one of the Cabanas. Everything is excellent. The place is close to th split and front street. They have a good deal on diving if you are inclined to do that, or just a nice place to relax in the wonderful gardens.

A great location, close to the split. Clean, basic rooms and a large lobby with water, a fridge and a microwave.
