We culminated a G Adventures Guatemala & Belize tour with 3 nights here and it was probably the lowest ranking hotel on the trip. It's location is pretty good with eateries and shops nearby, although nothing is very far away on this small island. The small cemetery directly next to the restaurant area makes for a different view. We didn't...

Very basic wooden cabins with 2 double beds, a small desk with 1 hard chair, a small TV and small fridge, only. A/C is there too but things are rough. Only screens on 1 of the 3 windows. We were charged a lot more than quoted on any travel info which put the cost per night about the same as...

This was a $65 a night hotel. We got what we payed for. There was no room service that we could find. The room was less than clean and the beds were absolutely uncomfortable. Customer service was less that good. If you're looking for cheap, this one will do.

We do not recommend this hotel. The rooms are dirty and absolutely not comfortable. The prices of the rooms are very expensive. There are many other hotels in Caye Calker much more better than Tropical Paradise. Moreover the personnal of the hotel is not sympathetic and correct. We have sincerely regretted to stay at this hotel. An advice : DO...

We are sorry you had this experience and we understand from the Staff that is was only because of our Policy. There was no need to say that the rooms are dirty, which is not true. Please understand that all Hotels have Policies and you knew these upfront. Also, this is an extremely busy time of year so we could...

Really nice place to spend some days, has a restaurant right in front, built next to the cementery but that's not big deal, it's almost hidden among the plants, they clean the huts every single day, hot and cold water, tv, AC, pretty comfortable, you can get your tickets there to go snorkeling, during low season you better get a...

I usually do all-inclusive vacations in the Caribbean, but I had a free airline ticket and could get to anywhere in Caribbean, Mexico or Central America that Delta went. I decide to find a place I hadn't been and it came down to Belize and El Salvador. I chose to go to Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker off the coast...

Visited Belize for the first time in October. Our last few days were spent in the Cayes - first Ambergris then Caulker. When looking online - the Tropical Paradise looked great - spacious and picturesque and within easy walking distance from the ferry. Quiet, colorful bungalows nestled nest to a private beach at a good price - sounds great. When...

If you are looking for all the unnecessary trappings of a Marriott, Radisson or a Holiday Inn, don't stay here. However, if you want charming (though basic) accommodation in a quite setting just off the beach, with attentive staff, this is definitely your place. We were in Room 1 which is one of 4 attached rooms in a long "cabana"-like...

The spot itself is cute - small houses set up next to each other with private beach access. There is free wifi and a private-ish beach area. The houses are pretty basic - squeaky floorboards, small mildewy bathrooms and our toilet was not exactly secure (as in, practically ripping out of the floor each time we used it.) The bed...
