We looked at a lot of places before deciding on Iguana Reef. Ultimately, we were super satisfied with our stay here. We ended up staying in one of the lower priced rooms a little further from the water (which means an extra 50 feet) on the side closest to the soccer field. This room was plenty for 2 of us....

In all honestly, it is tough looking into hotels/resorts online, on an island, where no one we know has ever been before. Iguana Reef by far is the best resort on Caye Caulker, personal helpful and friendly staff, who quickly become friends to make your stay more enjoyable. The sunsets are merely the icing on the cake when you stay...

The location is wonderful. The staff was friendly and professional. A quite breakfast on the private beach front was delightful. The rooms and grounds were clean and well kept. Great experience and hope to return for another visit soon!

My husband and I spent a wonderful 7 nights at the Iguana Reef Inn. We absolutely loved it!! We stayed in the pool-side room with a King bed, which was very spacious and comfortable. The room had a balcony from which we watched the sunset every night. The hotel has a beautiful pool. We would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Iguana Reef Inn for 10 days and we can't wait to return. The rooms are large and very clean, the property is well maintained and breakfast, snacks and drinks were all amazing. The best part? The people. Liz made us feel welcome (ask her about her inside tips on where to get the best ceviche), Alex...

Stop here and stay at Iguana Reef! It really is fantastic. A quieter side of the island, great pool and bar, stunning private 'beach' area with a beautiful jetty with the best sunsets we've seen. The rooms are huge, great bathroom, private terrace area on both sides of the room, incredibly comfortable and huge bed... We were on a garden...

My husband and I just spent our seven-night honeymoon at the Iguana Reef and couldn't have been happier. As others have mentioned, the staff is truly outstanding. Alex, Lisbeth and Otis felt like friends by the time we left. They were attentive and engaged, and happy to help with anything we needed. For the options available on the island, the...

One of the best weeks ever. The rooms are clean spacious and is really does have the best sunset on the island. Thanks to Liz for making us feel at home from the minute we got there even finding band aids and peroxide for a little golf cart mishap on the way in. She was so helpful and happy and...

We have been to Caye Caulker 5 times and have stayed at the Iguana Reef Inn on four of these visits. The only reason we did not stay every time at the Iguana Reef was because it was booked solid during one of our visits and we reluctantly had to book another hotel. Our latest stay at the Iguana Reef...

This maybe a more expensive choice on the island, but for far less than $200 you get a $500 hotel room and top of the line service. The pool is peaceful and the sunsets unbeatable. Our room was huge with a proper couch and sitting area, bathtub, hot shower and great ocean breeze. The owner, Eric, showed me sea horses...
