I spent 4 nights at hotel del rio (from the 28th December 2014) and my stay was really peaceful. Really close to the sea and just 10 minutes walking to San Pedro city centre. The staff was nice and really helpful. The Cabanas were amazing, really comfortable. I would recommend this hotel :)

The location of this hotel was perfect. It is just far enough away from the center of town to not deal with nightlife yet close enough to be near everything. A taxi ride to almost everywhere is only $5US but it is all pretty walk-able if you're willing. It is located right on the beach although none of the beaches...

This place is wonderful! It was extremely clean with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the chica cabana. We had our own small porch with chairs and a table with a great view of the ocean. The room itself was spotless. It does not have AC but there is a large ceiling fan and then a standing fan (which...

Stayed here for 5 nights in the coco cabana. The room was very basic but had all the necessities plus WiFi and a bug net. The room didn't have a/c but also didn't need it since it stayed nice and cool with the window open and thy he fan on. Javier at the front desk was extremely helpful, making loads...

This hotel spot is great because you have great views of the water, have just enough space since you won't be inside anyways, it's just far enough from the city so that it's quiet at night, but the main city is easily accessible by foot during the day. One morning, I woke up at about 5:30AM, NOT TYPICAL!, but i...

We stayed in a cabana grande, complete with kitchenette, and really liked the spaciousness of our room and the view of the sea from the balcony. It was great to have a really high palapa roof too (especially after some tin roofs and heavy rain!). It's easy enough to walk into town from the hotel, but it feels less busy...

Stayed at the Hotel Del Rio our very first night in Belize. Loved the location - just far enough out of town to be peaceful, but within walking distance for shopping and dinner. Very basic accommodations, but very clean and comfortable. Right on the beach - loved the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze. It was a very...

Lovely, quiet and very clean place! We stayed in a small wooden bungalow, 30 meters from the sea. It was also very close to the town center so that it was easy to get to all the restaurants by feet or by bike. The personal was adorable. Good wi-fi. We were definitely pleased!

We are typically budget minded travelers so take this review with that in mind. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was welcoming, clean, secure, and out of the main bustle and noise of San Pedro. That does mean there is a 10 min walk along the beach to get to food, but is that really a minus? We have...

Very nice wooden cabanas! Book in advance, they're always fully booked. Wonderful choise if you think that near by all others hotel are made of cement. Unfortunatly there's always a lot of traffic on the sandy road during the day but this is San Pedro! Nice area between the cabanas with a big table where you can bring your food...
