My husband and I dropped our kids off at camp and headed for Barnsley Gardens! We were exhausted and stressed from recent full schedules. All we wanted to do was relax and unwind! This place fit the bill! We put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door of our room and worked hard at relaxing. We ate each meal...

My husband and I spent two nights here (Sunday and Monday) for an anniversary get-away and it was a wonderful experience. Had never been there before but a friend had recommended the golf course, so we checked out their website. An hour north of Atlanta in the middle of nowhere it seems, but a lovely well-groomed golf course in a...

Thank you for spending your anniversary with us at Barnsley Resort! We are so glad you were able to enjoy our restaurants and amenities like the s'mores in Guest Registration each night. We hope to see you again soon!

The resort is beautiful but is showing signs of neglect and wear and tear. For example, the cottage exteriors are in need of paint and maintenance. In our room, the water pressure in the shower was low, the shower head was dirty and calcified, the mattress had a deep depression in the center, the air conditioning was very loud, the...

My husband and I were there over the weekend for a quick getaway. I want to start with the positives... Sharon McCoy in reservations was beyond helpful, professional and accommodating. She presented an excellent first impression of the resort and was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend speaking with her if you have any questions about the rooms or...

I'd have given it more than 5 stars! Great golf. The course is in great shape. The staff was very good and extremely helpful. The food is a little pricey. We ordered an $8 sandwich at the turn only to find out that that was for half a sandwich. No real complaints. Must play here

I live in Atlanta and had never even heard of Barnsley Gardens until we stayed there for a company meeting. When I first walked in the cottage, I thought I was in the wrong place as there is a beautiful living room a very nice poster bed and two bathrooms inside the cottage. The grounds are immaculate and the resort...

My husband and I chose Barnsley Gardens as an overnight get-away to celebrate our anniversary. Stay on a weeknight if possible or one of their Smart Stay Days to get a very reasonable rate. Grounds are immaculate; room was clean, cozy and spacious. We stayed in a King Manor room - two separate bathroom areas (1=sink and toilet and 1=sink,...

I spent the past year or so stalking out Barnsley Resort on-line. I took advantage of the Smart Day Stay rate for a one night get away for my husband & I. The resort did not let me down. We didn't have a chance to take advantage of all that Barnsley has to offer, but we had a wonderful relaxing...

We love this property, just beautiful! Awesome cotteges and grounds great for walking and taking in nature. Lots of stuff to do from golf to spa. Staff is super friendly and make your stay pleasurable. We were there in the middle of the week so the fine dining The Rice Houae was closed, so be careful what nights you visit....

All of the rooms are cottage style, which meant that even though the property was fully booked during our stay, it never felt too busy or hectic. We were able to get reservations for everything we wanted with only a couple days advance notice. A big standout for us was the staff. Every single person we encountered on property went...
