This old mansion (plus two related buildings) is indeed beautiful, but the grounds could be better landscaped. The refitting of some of the rooms is somewhat awkward (suites with kitchen but no usable table to eat on, bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs that don't fit the decor and partly block doorways, very uneven floors, no climate controls in several suites). The...

The Inn is absolutely beautiful and located in a very central location. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions for places to see and dine. Our room was fabulous, clean and aesthetically beautiful. We were offered a choice of quiches for breakfast how classy was that. Only sorry we only had one night would have liked to use...

We were warmly greeted by Tina and shown to a lovely and large room on the main floor. Wonderful breakfast and you could smell the cookies baking by mid-morning. Apalachicola is a sweet town with great restaurants. The Inn is located just two blocks from Main Street so you can walk to any where.

This property is very centrally located and I picked it for that reason...I planned to sample a few of the local beers and didn't want to be driving. The room (Number 7, The Heron) was very nice but at the top of the stairs above the check in desk which provided some unwelcome noise and conversations drifting up to the...

Great accommodations, staff and awesome full breakfast everyday. The town was great getaway and beautiful period homes. Everything with in walking distance. The beach was about 15 miles away on St. George Island and was beautiful. The seafood in the area was delicious.

We stayed in room 11, which is a very beautiful room with a four posterbed (but in a separate building) with a very big bathroom with a bath big enough for two people. We really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was more than OK for us. All the staff were always very friendly. We really enjoyed the stories about the house...

Great location. Great breakfast. Great evening with complimentary wine and cheese. Great service. Easy walk to the downtown area where great restaurants and shopping are located. Our room was antique furniture with a high bed with moveable steps for access if necessary. We had morning coffee on the porch just outside of our room. Very nice bed and breakfast. We...

My husband and I stayed a week, since it looked so nice and we got a great deal with low season rates. In fact, the rates were better than some of the highly-rated motels in the area. Our room was on the second floor of the original house. What we liked: Beautifully decorated. Interesting history that may includie ghosts. (We...

We stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary (several years ago.) It was beautifully decorated with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The hosts were very helpful. We love Apalachicola and this added so much charm to our stay.

Very friendly staff, clean room and breakfast was wonderful. The Jacuzzi was just what we needed after a long days drive. The historic furnishings were beautiful and added the ambiance. Would stay there again.
