My wife and I came here for a mid-week getaway this fall. We had a great trip and liked the place overall, but there were a few problems that threatened to ruin the experience. I'll start with the good: First of all it was a great value, at least by Aspen standards. The location was good, just 2 blocks from... More

Good location, comfortable rooms, better-than-average breakfast, nice hot tub with views looking to the mountains in two directions. What makes this place a cut above average, however, is the owner/manager, Charlie (or is it "ey"?) who works the floor during breakfast, inquiring about travel plans, offering advice, and swapping stories with seemingly genuine interest. This what is meant by hospiitality,... More

The Hotel is a nice place to stay if you visit and would like a low stress environment. Be aware there are no early morning wake up calls so bring your own clock if you want to get up early. The rooms are comfortable but desk space is limited. They have a meeting room that was great for a group... More

The rooms were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The entire place was clean and quiet. A hot tub was available for sore muscles. Breakfast in the morning had fresh blueberry muffins and pot after pot of fresh coffee. It will definitely be a preferred place to stay next time I'm in Aspen!

My boyfriend and I stayed here 9/15-17 2016 for Rugerfest (he played), and my birthday. It was perfect! Very charming, comfortable, nicely appointed decor, and landscaping. Very friendly staff too, especially Mike. On main street, and within walking distance to everything. Very nice continental breakfast with meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, danish, oatmeal, juice and coffee. Also, very reasonably priced!... More

My wife and I just got back from a week in Colorado. At check-in Mike and Doug were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us each a glass of wine and took the time to visit with us and get to know us a little. They gave us recommendations on hikes and restaurants, and even went to the trouble of... More

My wife and I spent one night in this quaint little bed and breakfast. The gentleman at the front counter was most helpful getting us checked in. He gave us our room assignment and a parking pass good most places in Aspen. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect with quality linens. The bathroom was... More

My sweet room was comfy and cozy. Though in the front of the building, I was lulled to sleep by traffic sounds (air conditioner hum covered some of it.) I appreciated how clean it was too. The staff were very nice. Only stayed one night as I had other accommodations for the rest of the visit.
