I loved this family run hotel. It had homemade fun that was outstanding. I honestly couldn't wait to eat each morning. The cookies each afternoon were awesome. It was not fancy but sooooo clean. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was so warm and refreshing. Each pe

If you are looking for fancy this is not the place, but it is so clean, well maintained and in a great location. Literally two blocks from the gondala and you couldn't ask for more in a hotel. They always have hot beverages for you, homeade cookies, and are willing to help. Al

Within walking distance to all of the shopping and night life. Quaint somewhat rustic atmosphere and SUPER CLEAN! Included delicious omelet and fresh orange juice breakfast. Refrigerator in room with super comfy beds. Ping pong table and gym were a bonus!!

The hotel is an old hotel, a little worn and dated, my room though had what I needed, and its a cheap alternative to some of the really expensive hotels in Aspen. The hotel is right in the city center, close to restaurants and bars. Theres free coffee and cookies in the lobby. Fr

I am not a person to ever write a review, but I feel this property was worth the time. My daughter and I had the best experience staying at Mountain Chalet Aspen. It is spotlessly clean and the family style breakfast was wonderful with so many options. Location is terrific. I

Is there an elevator? Are there handicapped rooms? Is there a frig/freezer & microwave in the room?
Yes there is an elevator and fridge and microwave in room, not sure of handicapped but the reception staff are brilliant and am sure they will be able to help you, we enjoyed staying there and hopefully it will be suitable for your needs too

Hi, looking for a great place (reasonably priced) for families: we like a nice (warm) pool and other kids around. Thank you!!
We were there at the end of May, low season, and the pool was empty and being repaired. I assume they planned to finish it before the busy summer season. The price was reasonable, location good, staff especially friendly. There were fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, and a substantial breakfast buffet with hot entree included. There is also a park with playground nearby. It's an older, family owned hotel, not deluxe, but well maintained, clean and comfortable. Hope you have a great time!

Book on Tripadvisor lists a "Superior Quadruple Room" and a "Family Room" as options. When I visit Mountain Chalet's website, the rooms are not listed by those names. Based on the rates that Tripadvisor is charging, I think the "Family Room" is the "Large" room and the "Superior Quadruple Room" is the "Garmisch Superior" room. Please confirm.
"Best location. Go for it."
"Some of the rooms have balconies which are a bonus, but if you're a light sleeper the road/outside noise might bother you at night."
"There is no check-in parking space and you must be able to manage steps and stairs."
"If you do not want to be disappointed with your room pay more and get a better room. The budget rooms are DEFINITELY BUDGET!!!!!"
