I am just waking up the computer (and the map to the lodge was still up on this site) after 3 days of being treated to great food and service and scenery and charm, thanks to Cathy and Cory. The group event that I attended has been held at the lodge twice a year and I can see why they...

I was fortunate to discover the Lodge when I was invited to a small retreat that was being held there. I had no idea what to expect as I live on the east coast -- and, I was so pleasantly surprised! The Lodge is located high in the mountains with beautiful views. The buildings, the food and the owners are...

My family & I enjoyed the cozy "far-a-way" feel, yet we weren't very far from Estes Park and things we wanted to do. The cost was very reasonable, and Cory and Cathy were very friendly.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge while visiting our children, who joined us at the lodge. This was my first cabin experience so I had no basis for comparison and relied on my husband for an opinion. He said it far surpassed any cabin at which he has every stayed. Cat and Cory, the lodge...

I was with some friends on Motorcycles for 4-days/nights at the lodge, July 20-24th, the wife and I stayed in the econo cabin #6 which was attached to cabin #5 with a door between the two cabins, it was ok but for the money I guess I was expecting a little more, the cabin windows had been sealed/glued shut so...

I coordinated the 2011 Men's Rocky Mountain Knitting Retreat in July 2011. Twenty guys spent 3 nights and 4 days at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge with field trips to Boulder and Estes Park. The group unanimously loved everything about Sunshine Mountain Lodge and the owners, Cathy and Cory. The cabins, lodge, and beds were cozy and very comfortable. The food...

The morning after we arrived back home, I was missing Cory and Cathy's wonderful breakfast. We rented 2 cabins and they were both neat and clean. If you want a friendly, rustic and reasonably priced setting, then this is the place for you. The cabins are somewhat small, but the lodge provides more than enough comfortable room for relaxing, game-playing,...

Wonderful time at Sunshine Mountain. Yummy breakfasts every morning. Very welcoming to small children and pets, which is not always the case near RMNP. Lots of games and books available but the real treat is the GREAT OUTDOORS.

Allenspark is at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, a short drive from the Wild Basin entrance. We arrived late and the cabin was fully lit and ready for us to use. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, nothing fancy but very user friendly. We both struggled with altitude sickness the first night and morning. Cathy had a whole...

Cory and Cathy, the lodge's owners, have forever put Allenspark, CO, on the map for me. In July, my wife, Sara, and I had our wedding at Sunshine Mountain Lodge. In an age where the mention of "wedding" at any venue instantly makes the price jump 20%, it was such a relief to stumble upon a lodge that not only...
