Juanita and Bill are wonderful hosts and cooks. They are literally inviting you into their home. This history of this lodge is amazing - a trip back into another era. I have been there many times and it only gets better.

We have been going to APL for over 20 years. Bill and Juanita are the ultimate hosts making you feel comfortable and like family. Rooms are cozy and well attended. Beds are very comfortable and some have heating blankets during the winter to make it extra cozy. A fresh flower is in every room. You are served a hearty breakfast...

We enjoyed a four night stay in the lodge last month and stayed in the "apartment" which gave us a little more room. Breakfast every morning was a real treat. We had a multicourse breakfast everyday and there was no repetition. We enjoyed chatting with the owners and enjoying their home. Both of them were friendly and helpful. Most of...

Very nice quaint old lodge. If you are looking to hide from the world and catch up on some reading or get back into nature and experience some beautiful hikes or horseback trails then this is the spot to do it at. The owners seem to be kind people who mean well. They are a bit too focused on getting...

This lodge is only about 12 miles from Estes Park. Just a short drive but a world apart from the hustle and bustle of downtown Estes Park. It is rustic and homey. When Juanita showed us around the lodge, we learned that coffee, tea and hot chocolate are always available. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and candies were out for snacks....
