I have been going to Catalina Island since I was a little girl. My husband and I have stayed at the Inn at Mt. Ada several times and it has now become an annual visit for the Catalina Jazz Festival. This was our second year for the jazz festival, the vibe, energy, and excitement is so much fun. One day... More

This is one of the more unique hotel experiences I've had. You should note that this is not a full hotel, they do include breakfast and lunch but not dinner. It is not cheap either, but it is better than it seems as your room rate does include breakfast, lunch, evening appetizers, plus wine, beer and soft drinks. They also... More

Came for an afternoon jaunt. Amazing view! The prix fixe menu was quite good and certainly filling. Service was just off. The older woman who seated us as hostess was also one of the servers so maybe they were short staffed? She offered us Voss water but she didn't return for a long time. Young man came and brought tap... More

Lunch reservations are welcome by those not blessed with a nights stay at Mt.Ada. A fixed price includes beer, wine or champagne, juice, coffee, tea and a three course meal. Visiting the mansion is a thrill itself, add fantastic views, welcoming hosts, superior service and the best meal I've had on the island. This makes the whole experience AWESOME !... More

For my first visit to Catalina as an adult, I booked a 3 night July 2016 stay here way back in 8/15. The inn has a lot of pluses--location, history, quiet, amenities--but there were some niggles that at first perplexed me. As time passed the inn's charm and the staff's hospitality more than won me over. I've not had much... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn on Mt. Ada. Probably the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. We stayed in Bethany Glen. The balcony was wonderful as well as the views. Great place to stay, very expensive, but extremely worth it due to all of the additional benefits of staying there. Stopped by for lunch this trip and the view, service and food never disappoints. Make a reservation early, then sit back and enjoy the food and wonderful surroundings.
