My husband and I celebrated our 28th Anniversary with a bucket list adventure... Catalina Island. We planned to stay only the night of our anniversary and we left the next evening. I wanted a mid price range hotel, (under 300) and I found this one on Booking.com Hotel Catalina is a 10 minute walk from the ferry to the front...

Easy location to walk to. Kind face at arrival. Room old world in style - double bed so was a little small for a 6tf 5 guy and shower too. Shower needs tying up - re gout etc. the bathroom is tiny - closet size which is OK as long as you are informed and your not staying too long....

Totally enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Catalina! The staff are extremely friendly and professional! The rooms are decorated in Victorian style, our room had a view of the ocean, which was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are small, but there is plenty of room to sit outdoors, with three large front patios and an outdoor hot tub area, the hotel...

We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Catalina. Friendly staff, clean, cozy room. Enjoyed the spa and sitting on the porch. Close to everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went on my birthday and appreciated the 20% discount on the room!

This is a nice little hotel right in the center of Avalon, walking distance to all restaurants, shops, beach and ferry service. Hotel room was nice but small, bathroom is very roomy and clean. Free WiFi. The hotel gets sold out on weekends and prices are bit too much. Also when we were staying, they messed up the reservation and...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Catalina. It's a charming, cozy, old fashion Victorian Style place with all modern conveniences. It's a little off the main drag, but still within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and even the pier where the ferry lands. Actually Avalon is so small that everything is within easy walking if you're...

Stayed at the Hotel Catalina for one night. Staff were really friendly and very accommodating. Given the outrageous hotel prices Avalon has to offer, 130.00 for a Sunday night was not bad. The room was small but comfortable. Mine did not have air conditioning, but it did have a large and quite fan which was nice. My only gripe is...

Victorian Style hotel built in 1915, but updated nicely.Had 11 of us in 5 different rooms with most rooms holding queen bed. All rooms on smallish side, but adequate with refrigerator. No air conditioning, but each room had ceiling fans which cooled things off nicely. Hotel itself 1/2 block up from busy ocean front street, but conveniently located to get...

We stayed in the Family Room at the Hotel Catalina. It was very spacious and located in a perfect location. Walking distance from many stores, restaurants and beach areas. 2 king beds, small kitchen and a good sized bathroom. We enjoyed our stay!
