I recommend staying at the Disneyland Hotel, lots of shops on campus, great pools, rooms are comfortable, well insulated, staff is attentive. Access to Disneyland is close, using the Monorail to get back to the hotel after hours walking, is a lovely respite. Hope you have a great time on your excursion.
