We've stayed at Paradise Pier, the lowest-cost Disney hotel for Disneyland, and the Disneyland Hotel is really worth the extra money for the added Disney magic! First of all, the rooms are lovely, but most of all, the grounds and pools are outstanding. The pool at Paradise Pier is very plain and there isn't much too it. The pools at...

The room was lovely and clean, pretty spacious too. Our complaint is that there was a shortage of hot water. Two of our three mornings there, the water was too cold to shower between 6 and 7 am. I would think that a hotel that charges as much as they do could afford to kick up the capacity of their...

The hotel is the mini-showcase of what you expect at Disney, everything is carefully crafted to match the Disney charm. Right from washroom tap to lamp shade design, the decor has Disney touch. I liked the wooden carving of Disneyland on the bedside artwork. It is located right at the entrance of Downtown Disney, where you can enjoy lovely evenings....

My wife and I came stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We have come to Disneyland many times but decided this time to stay at this hotel for the first time. PRO's: - Great overall Disney vibe - Good restaurants nearby. (Note that if you plan on eating at Steakhouse 55, you should make a reservation a week in...

Grand Californian was being renovated and pools were closed so we stayed here. It was probably renovated a couple years ago so it's in good shape, not as fancy as the Grand. Nothing bad to say about the hotel, food not the best and you won't find any better in the park. Monorail is close by and it takes you...

Completed my training with Disney Cruise Line at this Hotel! Very convenient access to Downtown Disney, and beautiful views of the sight in Paradise Pier. Recommend: Calling in and making special requests for Pins, balloons, etc. The hotel staff will go above and beyond to make things happen for you! Like 3 am Mickey Bars via Room service.

I stayed here for my 27th birthday, and we were lucky to have a view of Downtown Disney. It was my first time staying at a Disney hotel and I'm glad it was a great experience. The most memorable of all was coming back at around 9pm the day of my birthday, opening the curtains of my hotel room and...
