Hotel Indigo Anaheim, part of the IHG group, garners praise for its enviable proximity to Disneyland and the convention center as well as numerous dining options. Cleanliness is a standout feature, with most guests appreciating the immaculate rooms and facilities. The modern decor and comfortable atmosphere of the hotel, including a well-maintained pool and bright lounge, have been noted by guests. While rooms are generally celebrated for their tidiness and comfort, there's feedback pointing to the need for better soundproofing and updated amenities.
The staff's friendliness and helpfulness often contribute to a commendable service experience. Opinions on value vary, with some guests questioning additional charges and others satisfied with the complimentary offerings. Amenities like secure parking are well-regarded, although some guests miss having in-room microwaves.

Detailed Reviews
Though there’s no shortage of lodging in Anaheim, it’s more difficult to find a decent chain hotel within a reasonable distance to Disneyland (that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg) than you would think. I chose Indigo for its proximity and relative affordability, a combination that was difficult to find at other properties in the area. The hotel is a manageable, straightforward walk to Disneyland (about 10 minutes to the intersection, 15 minutes to the gates). Between GardenWalk and the main intersection, there are plenty of dining and convenience store options nearby to save some money outside of the parks.
The vibe of the property was a slightly more glam Holiday Inn (which I’m assuming is intended as they both fall under the IHG umbrella). The hotel definitely felt more like a place to rest than the destination itself, with its minimal lobby and common spaces. I didn’t find the front desk agents to be the friendliest, and I’m not sure early check-in is an option here; when I arrived early, even though there were several rooms available the night before, I had to wait until after check-in time for access to my room. Furthermore, I told the agent that the bed type didn’t matter to me as I was traveling solo, and she quickly reacted very firmly that what I booked was what I had to stay in. I’ve made a similar comment at dozens of other hotels before and never had that kind of reaction, so it felt a bit bizarre and off-putting.
The room itself was spacious and I was pleasantly surprised to find my room had a direct view of Disneyland’s fireworks. The windows slightly open for some air flow, which is something I rarely see in hotels (but they open sideways and at a minimal crack so there’s no safety hazard with kids). I’m not sure if the bed was really comfortable or I was just really exhausted from long park days, but nevertheless I got a great night’s sleep. Similar to the rest of the room, the bathroom was a large, bright space and well designed. The room overall didn’t feel the cleanest, both in general housekeeping and overall COVID measures. For example, though a minor detail, in the ~20 hotels I’ve stayed at this year Indigo was the first that didn't feature modified measures such as a sanitized/packaged remote. Overall, I found the accommodations at Indigo to be comfortable and convenient, and would keep it in mind for future trips.

I can’t thank Hotel Indigo enough for their patience and generosity. After two days at Disneyland our two year old got super duper sick. We ended up needing clean linens, and the front desk was always patient and prompt to respond. Even when it turned into multiple requests. It became pretty clear that we were all getting sick, so we decided the best thing to do was to leave a day early. Long story short, Hotwire was stinky about the travel insurance and refused to refund us for the last day of our reservation. They said the only way to get our money back was if the hotel was willing to do it on their own. I called the manager, explained the situation, and thanked them for taking such good care of us already, and they said they’d be happy to refund us for our unused night. So generous, even when it came at their expense. Sure, the accommodations were nice, the beds were fine, the walk to Disneyland was about ten minutes, and the parking was included. All of those things were great, but the best part of our experience was how they took care of us, and went above and beyond to meet our needs with patience and generosity. Thank you, Hote Indigo!

This is a great hotel within walking distance to Disneyland. We booked the package which includes breakfast. It was a great deal because we got 2 vouchers for breakfast per night we stayed. The vouchers can be used for any item off the breakfast menu in the restaurant downstairs. This was wonderful since it was a freshly cooked breakfast, unlike the complementary breakfast buffets at other hotels.
The rooms are spacious and come with a mini-fridge and keurig (yes!). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

I had a big checklist of things we needed when planning for our trip...I wanted a hotel room with 2 separate sleeping areas (to allow privacy for another couple), a pool, close to the airport, walking distance to Disney, free parking and oh yah, all for under $250 a night. Hotel Indigo delivered all that AND with amazing customer service!!
Check in was easy. Front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Parking was underground and safe, in fact the whole area felt safe and secure. Lots of restaurants, pharmacies, shops etc nearby.
The walk to Disney was under a mile and super easy to navigate. The walk home, after a day in the park, was a little tougher on the feet. We took an Uber back one day when we needed to leave the park for a break from the heat. It was a $10 ride for 4 of us....so worth it. We relaxed in the room and recharged.
The pool is small, but well maintained and clean. There is even a hot tub and cabana.
Hotel Indigo gives you A LOT of bang for your buck. Why stay at pricey hotels, save your money for churros and Mickey Ears!

My check-in Date was Wednesday Feb 2nd at 3pm, but I had tickets for California Adventure. I had called the hotel the day before and asked if I could park my car there while I went to Disney CA adventure. They said yes! I would be doing a pre-check in. I thought that was so convenient that way I didn't have to pay for Disney parking else where. I probably could have left leave my luggage there at the hotel, I probably could have if I'd ask, but I had no problem leaving my things in my car. Parking is under a parking garage and you needed a key to get into the underground parking garage, I felt my car was safe. I really thought I would have to leave the park at 3pm to check in, but they said when I was done with my visit at California Adventure that I would just come to the front and pick up my room key. I had no complaints about room, we just needed a place to rest our heads for the next day adventure at Disney. Our room had a mini fridge, but no microwave, which was a bummer because we had left overs from The Cheesecake Factory that's down the street (along with other restaurants) The walk from Disney to the hotel is only 15 minutes. I never really check out physically; as in I never go to the front desk; check out was Friday the 4th. From other establishments I usually get an emailed receipt the next day or 2. It's now the 9th and I still have not received a receipt. I know my card was charged already was because I logged into my credit card account. There was no over charge, but the fact that I still don't have a receipt is a little upsetting.

I live locally and was pleased to stay at Hotel Indigo in early December while my house was being fumigated. My 2 night stay at Indigo allowed me to walk to Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street in about 20'. All receptionists were friendly and helpful, but I'd like to especially thank Claire, with whom I checked in and checked out! When checking in she was able to help me find a room that was just right for me, due to a room map on the wall just behind the reception! I wonder why more hotels don't post such a map. Speaking of rooms: from reading reviews beforehand, and from personal experience while at the hotel, I suggest that guests wanting to avoid noise request a top (4th) floor room and avoid rooms located on Katella Avenue. The underground parking, at no cost, was safe and secure. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay!

We are frequent Disneyland travelers and we try many different hotels in the area. I can’t give this hotel more than an average rating. Check-in was fine and parking is free. One of the few “good neighbor” hotels left with free parking. The first room we received had a broken A/C unit. Instead of offering a room upgrade, they moved us to a different room and while that A/C unit worked, it sounded like a helicopter. Seriously. Again, no accommodations offered other than moving us to a higher floor. The room was fine. Due to Covid, we already know hotels aren’t operating like normal. They gave us a housekeeping card to fill out but didn’t say what to do with it so we filled it out and left it in the room. Upon coming back from Disney for a break, we found no housekeeping took place and due to some pipe issue, the water was shut off! I understand issues happen, but a heads up would have been nice. An email or something. That’s a big deal and they acted very nonchalant. We were then told that the housekeeping card had to be turned in to the front desk. We turned it in and still received no housekeeping until later the next day after returning and having to ask again. Overall, it’s a pretty clean hotel with average beds but this particular stay the service was lacking. Probably won’t stay here again.

Excellent choice when visiting Disneyland, renovated rooms with comfortable beds, decent storage, great bathroom, coffee machine and parking is included in the room rate.
A ten minute walk to the parks, and bunch of restaurants on the doorstep made the location ideal.
Not a problem for us, as we were in the parks all day, but the pool and lounger area looked very small.

I Arrived close to 10pm on a Thursday for my 3 night stay with my family 2 little kids ages 8 and 9 and I was greeted by Warm and Friendly Gentleman by the name of Anthony who was very patient by my millions of questions and answered all of them with a warm smile even though it was late. Room was was great. Great job to the Maids. We didn't request Maid service but, I encountered Beatriz who I asked Extra Bath Towels and washcloths and she was very nice and asked if I needed anything else to let her know. On Saturday I didn't have my Room Key and Erica at The Front Desk was kind enough to give me a key and also answered some questions I had. Sunday Morning we had Breakfast in the Hotel. José was our waiter and very attentive to our needs and our littles as well. Great Job Indigo Hotel on your Staff will definitely will be planning our next trip to stay here again.

We stayed six nights and had no complaints. The staff is extremely friendly, helped in any way they could. They have a nice little bar and restaurant, great service. We had some Tacos on Tuesday, cheap and delicious! They have a full bar, so we had drinks a few nights after coming back from Disney Land. We had a suite, I am not sure if all rooms are? But our room was wonderful, had pretty much everything you would need, with the exception of no micro wave. They did have a small refrigerator, two TV's, safe, nice walk in shower, really nice. The room and hotel was very clean. I would recommend the top floor, you could hear people walking above us since there are hardwood floors. We had a rental SUV for a couple days, parking under the hotel was easy and plenty of spots for a large SUV. Additionally there are tons of great restaurants close to the hotel. No brainer, wonderful hotel.
