We stayed at this Hilton July 26-30. This location should lower their classification to either a Doubletree or a Hilton Inn. First of all, the room we received had an "unusual" smell but good we had a bottle of Lysol spray (a must bring item during these times). No open restaurants (I know it's COVID but, really?) so we had to settle for the Starbucks which was overpriced with hardly no selection for kids' breakfast. The worst thing happened the night before we were to leave. I woke up to a dripping noise and asked my husband to check it out. Well, the bathroom sink was overflowing with unknown entities. He had to clean up at 1130pm, go downstairs, file a complaint (with no help from the useless folks in the front desk), and was given a key to another room. So, we end up waking up the kids at midnight, hauling them and our crap to a different room. Early in the morning, I go downstairs to talk to the front desk and the person who was there pretty much said: "I cannot help you, wait for our manager who comes in at 7am). Steaming mad because we planned to leave early to meet my daughter for breakfast, I waited for 7am, spoke to the manager (hence the two stars) and told him I am NOT paying for the last night. He did reverse the last night rate (close to $400) but I will never stay at this place again!…
My friends and I stayed for one night during our visit to the Disney theme parks. We checked in later in the evening on Thursday and it was all super smooth. I booked a studio suite for the three of us and, when we arrived to our room, saw that we had been given a one-bedroom suite - SWEET! We needed an extra duvet and the hotel team was quick to bring one to us. We later needed a pair of scissors to cut up some items and, again, the team was quick to bring us a pair. Overall, it was a great place for one night's rest before hitting the theme parks again.
I was taking my daughter down from Seattle for the weekend to meet her friend who was visiting from NJ. Our flight was delayed 5-1/2 hours and then when we got to the airport it was canceled. So I contacted Hilton (whom I’d advised earlier about the pre-cancellation delay and our flight number) to cancel our reservation as we were unable to get another flight from United. Hilton said that because I had made the mistake of taking their advice to “skip the front desk” and check-in online that I couldn’t cancel the reservation. Great job Hilton. You might want to advise future customers (don’t expect me) that checking in online is a really bad idea if you’re not already in the lobby.
The Hilton is usually a very nice place to stay. However, this time was not so enjoyable. The cleanliness of the room was something to be desired. There were stains on the "clean" bedding. For both beds. It was disgusting & frankly we found it hard to get comfortable and sleep. After spending the day at Disneyland Parks i expected to enjoy the luxury of The Hilton. The bathroom and bathtub was not clean and there was a large poorly patched hole in the bathroom wall. All in all for the price we paid..I definitely expected more!! I don't think I would recommend this hotel to family or friends and I definitely won't be staying here again.
