Stayed here for a few days to visit Disneyland. Location is excellent - a 10 mins walk to Disney, and there are quite a few dining /takeaway options within the same walking distance. The room was clean and everything worked well (beds, shower, etc). Only slight issue was a faint smell of smoke lingering in the corridor, even though hotel is supposed to be smoke free. Breakfast at $13 per head offered a good selection, and the staff at the breakfast room were very friendly and diligent in tidying up the tables.

We stayed 3 nights and visited Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm while there. Disney is an easy walk and Knotts is an easy drive. The valets were nice and quick and the only employees we ever interacted with the entire time. You check in online and download your room key to your phone, so we spoke to absolutely no one else. The rooms are very modern and clean. The TV has Directv and the bathroom is equipped with good quality toilet paper! If you’re on the freeway side of the property be prepared for loud traffic noise all night long. Which is really the biggest downfall for this property.

I’ve only stayed here one time, it was slightly cheaper than Hilton Anahiem for the weekend I stayed. I do prefer Hilton Garden Inn when I’m out of the resort areas of SoCal as breakfast is decent and priced well.

I did have a nice corner room, which I thought would be ideal. I would go inside room away from the 5. The windows make a great touch but don’t provide any noise reduction to the freeway. No one slept decent throughout the night due to the noise from the freeway.

The hotel restaurant is priced the same, pretty close to the mix restaurant at Hilton Anaheim, with less service provided for the price.

I’m not sure if I came at the wrong time for valet, it was late probably just after Disney parks closed for the night. The valet was a mess and didn’t seemed staffed for the rush, or this is what I’m telling myself. I do prefer valet parking, when I valet park I do expect a bell hop to take my luggage to the room. Trying to get a cart to take myself to the room and get checked in for valet parking wasn’t ideal.

We didn’t use the pool, so I can’t help there. The lobby is shared with a Home2home suites, the hotel is clean and modern. Staff was friendly and the location is close to the parks. I was doing a conference that was located at hotel Lulu down the street from this hotel.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is no bell hop and the noise from the freeway, which would be isolated to corner rooms next to the I-5.

We were thankful for the early check-in and had hopes for a great stay, but that was not the case. First, prices for any food at the property are through the roof and unaffordable.

They only offer housekeeping services every 3 days. That meant on day two when I asked for more towels and a change of sheets that they simply left a pile of everything on the bed, expecting me to change the sheets! Isn't that what we stay in a hotel for?

Why in the world was our room so humid?! It was disgusting. Everything was damp in the room. Not a good feeling.

The room was barely cleaed when we arrived. It clearly wasn't sanitized well when there is still hair in the shower!

Overall customer service was lacking. Look for a different place to stay.

I made a reservation with a travel agency and confirmation for the reservation is for home2suite with kitchen and free breakfast. but when I checked in, hilton had reservation under hilton garden inn with no kitchen. Having a kitchen was very important with four children but there was nothing that could be done because home2suite was sold out. The travel agency says they see the reservation under home2suite but hilton sees reservation under hilton garden inn. Even though those two hotels are in same hotel, having a kitchen or not is a big reason we booked home2suite. Both hotel and the travel agency blame each other for this and there was nothing that could be done. Very Disappointed and something needs to be done to clarify which hotel we are booking.
I am supposed to get food and beverage credit each night as a hilton diamond member. When I checked out credit was missing and took so long to put the credit in the system. My family and friends were waiting so front desk said to send an email with updated check out bill when it is updated with food and beverage credit. I never received it and credit card statement shows the charge without updated those credits. Very disappointed.

Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim Resort is a great hotel for families and couples who are looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while visiting Disneyland. The hotel is located just a short walk from the park, making it easy to get to the early morning parades and fireworks shows. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, and a microwave and mini-fridge. The hotel also has a fitness center, a pool, and a business center. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that guests have a great stay.

You have to enjoy the food at the hotel, the chefs aer doing a great job - Kudos to Cesar, Ruby and Julio for making everything do delicious

Don’t eat at the “buffet” it’s overpriced continental breakfast. Not really a buffet and that is if you find any food. Also, they staff keeps saying more food to come and after 15 minutes only 8 additional pieces of French toast were served for a room full of people.

The first room that was given we went in and started to unpack. Bathroom had a awful odor as if they had pipe issues. Opened the refrigerator only to find a dirty opened soda bottle from the previous stay. In this pandemic the last thing you want is to feel is that the rooms aren’t being properly maintained and cleaned.

Called and was given another room and that room was better, but still had an odor and the toilet seat had old pee on it. Very gross…

I’ve had great service with the Hiltons, but not this location or the case this time around. Very disappointed this stay.

Room was fine, 2 Queen Beds, a mini-fridge & small microwave. But the highway noise was a major problem. The front desk has complimentary ear plugs, but you have to ask for them. Housekeeping is currently not offered so each day you call to request any supplies you need. Staff was friendly & helpful, room was clean and the walk to Disneyland was manageable. As a gold hhonors I did get $20/day food/beverage credit however the prices in the cafe are steep. There are better & quieter choices in the area.

This could be a four star property, but they fail in several areas. First, they fail to follow Hilton Honors Terms and Conditions regarding Gold and Diamond daily F&B credit. Per Hilton terms, you have until checkout to use your final daily credit. This property requires you to use your first credit the day you check in and you cannot use your last credit the day you check out. Checking in late at night? Too bad, you lost your first credit!

Breakfast at this property is much more expensive than other HGI hotels. Most items are $18 plus $4 for coffee, so your $10 Diamond credit doesn’t come close to covering even half of your breakfast.

Lastly, do you want housekeeping? That is going to cost you an extra $12.

While this is a beautiful, new property, it would be my last choice for a future Disneyland visit.

We sincerely apologize your stay was less than satisfactory in any way and for falling short on service. We appreciate you sharing these important details and providing your honest feedback as we always aim to improve our guests' experience. The daily My Way credit should be valid for each day of stay as you mentioned and we have since updated our policy. In regards to housekeeping, we currently offer housekeeping service after the third day of stay, however a limited service or supplies request may be requested in between service at no additional cost. Thank you for being a valued Hilton Honors member and thank you for your valuable feedback.
