We originally had booked Hyatt Anaheim but changed plans and so glad we changed to this one! Not only is it a short walk to Disneyland (about 3 blocks) but the staff was super friendly, the location has a full Starbucks on main floor, but also a 5 minute walk to Cheesecake Factory or Tony romas.

We got a one king bed with bunk bed suite, The kids enjoyed a great sleep without sharing a pull out and we enjoyed sleeping without sharing a queen bed with a kid and getting kicked at night 😂

The free continental breakfast had enough choices and the staff were so efficient and friendly, We appreciated Margarita coming around multiple times to collect dirty dishes or ask if we need anything before they cleaned up.

The beds were comfy, the gym had a peloton and a full weight set. The pool was decent size and the hot tub was hot.

Make sure your Hyatt member (free) to get two complimentary waters a day. It was nice to have when we got back midday for a rest before returning to Disney for the evening.

Our only complaint was the pool water was cold and the water made my Kids skin itch. But it was also slow season for sure.

Although there are a few hotels closer to Disneyland the bunk beds was the major draw for us and why we chose this hotel. The sheets and pillows were perfect and comfy beds and that was my main focus as I knew our days at Disneyland would be long and sleep would
Make or break the days.

We recently stayed at the Hyatt House in Anaheim for 4 nights in August 2023, and our experience was very positive, especially for a family trip. The value for money is excellent, especially for the 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children). The room was spacious and of a good standard, equipped with 2 double beds and a double sofa bed, which allowed us to stay comfortably. However, the sofa bed mattress wasn't very comfortable, which was the only negative we noted.

Breakfast, although simple, was an effective start to our days. The hotel's location is ideal for visitors to Disneyland California, just a 10-minute walk away, and the area offers a nice selection of small restaurants that close late, very convenient for dining outside the hotel.

The hotel also has a pleasant swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking around the Disney park. The only downside is the cost of parking, between $20 and $30 per day, but this seems to be the norm for the region.

Overall, we highly recommend the Hyatt House in Anaheim for families looking for accommodation close to Disneyland with a good value. We would definitely return there for a future stay.

This is a great hotel for visiting Disneyland; it's a 15-minute walk to the security checkpoint. We were happy to get an early check-in upon arrival.

Breakfast is plentiful with scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and a type of sausage every day, as well as fresh fruit, berries, yogurt, oatmeal, and a variety of bread items. There are real dishes and substantial metal cutlery to use, so the hotel is creating less plastic /paper / styrofoam waste. The breakfast staffers are friendly and work hard.

There are two large drugstores on this intersection that also have some groceries and souvenirs, and there are several counter-service restaurants below the hotel as well as in a strip mall across the street.

The pool and hot tub are nice with above-average towels. We stayed in a standard size room with a very comfortable king bed and a big L-shaped sofa that included the double pull out bed. Window is large but doesn't open. Climate control (heat / AC) in the room was powerful and easy to figure out. Everything was clean and fairly well maintained. My only wish would be that the mini fridge had a small freezer section.

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay at this hotel. While the check-in process was straightforward, the room itself was dated and showed noticeable wear and tear. However, the biggest issue was the lack of heat! With nighttime temperatures dropping to 40–45 degrees and drafty windows, our room was uncomfortably cold. My daughter’s bed felt like it had a cold wind blowing on it all night, and she woke up the next morning with sniffles.

When I called the front desk to report what I assumed was a broken heater, the woman who answered (who clearly gets this question often) said, “Wellllll, it will just get lukewarm in your room.” Why would that be? A thermostat should heat the room to the set temperature. Before I could ask further, she interrupted to say, “We can’t have space heaters—they’re a fire hazard,” and then - mid sentence, without telling me - transferred me to someone else who repeated, “As my colleague said, we don’t have heat.” I have never stayed in a hotel—anywhere—that didn’t provide heat in the rooms. Shivering through the night is unacceptable.

To make matters worse, when we checked in, we requested three extra blankets before heading to dinner. When we returned, there was only one blanket in the room. I called to request the remaining two, and after an hour of waiting, no one arrived. I called again, and they assured me someone was on their way. Five minutes later, maintenance arrived—not with blankets, but to “fix our blinds.” (He even showed us the message on his phone.) We explained that we had asked for blankets, not a repair. This level of miscommunication is baffling.

Housekeeping was another problem. At check-in, we were told housekeeping would come every other day, so we expected service on Saturday. However, after returning from the park, it was clear no one had cleaned the room—no fresh towels, no emptied trash, nothing. These are basic services we are paying for. Calling at 10 PM for towels and waiting for them to arrive is not acceptable.

Finally, the $30 parking fee felt excessive.

The only positives were the hotel’s proximity to the parks (a 10-minute walk) and the nice fitness center. However, these do not outweigh the discomfort, poor service, and lack of basic amenities. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again.

This was the perfect location for the Disneyland Half Marathon, about a 10-15 minute walk to the park entrances and the starting line for the race. 24 hr Walgreens and CVS right next door in case you needed any extra supplies. Also located right across from the GardenWalk with ample food options.

My group of 4 booked the Speciality Family Suite, which includes 1 bathroom, King bed, twin bunk bed and sofa bed. The bunk and sofa beds are separated from the main bed by a sliding door, allowing some privacy.

A few days before our stay, I messaged the hotel letting them know that a few of us are planning to run the Half Marathon that weekend, as well as celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival, we were delightfully greeted to a welcome gift filled with snacks, water and a personalized card welcoming my group. Perfect treats for fueling for the race.

A few days later, the Front Desk Supervisor, Andrew, surprised us once more with a gift bag with wine and another personal note wishing us a happy birthday. We felt well treated by staff all throughout our stay.

Room: 5/5

Clean and very spacious for a group of 4. The room also came with a mini fridge and microwave.

Amenities: 5/5

Complimentary breakfast included some
typical hot food: scrambled eggs, pancakes and a pork protein), along with toast, fresh fruit and cereal. Lots of brewed coffee, juices and ice water available. The breakfast area was always fully stocked when we came in and lots of seating area.

Member Benefits: Discoverist

I didn’t ask for a room upgrade, but was provided two water bottles each day from the front desk.

Note that when checking out, I was charged for overnight parking each night even though we didn’t have a car. The front desk was able to fix it without an issue, but just a gentle reminder to always read through your bill before leaving a hotel.

I recently stayed at Hyatt house with my family during our Disneyland vacation, and we couldn’t have been happier! The location was ideal, just a quick walk or shuttle ride to the park, which made it so convenient for taking breaks throughout the day. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a cozy, welcoming vibe—perfect for unwinding after a day filled with Disney magic. The kids loved the pool area, and the complimentary breakfast was a lifesaver in the mornings, with plenty of options for everyone.

The staff was wonderful—so friendly and genuinely helpful with local tips and anything we needed. I also appreciated the little extras like the Disney-themed decor that made our stay feel even more special. This hotel really made our trip stress-free and fun from start to finish. I highly recommend it to any families or Disney fans looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We had an amazing experience staying at Hyatt House during our Cheer Nationals weekend! Even though the hotel was at full capacity with cheerleaders, tourists, and families, everything was well-organized, and the service was exceptional.

The location was perfect—just a short and easy walk to the Anaheim Convention Center. Our rooms were comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

A special shoutout to Richard, the Assistant General Manager, who was incredibly pleasant and helpful. He arranged a last minute car service for our athletes when they needed assistance transporting all their equipment. He always greeted us with a smile when we would see him around the lobby. Andrew at the front desk was also fantastic—he answered all of our questions with patience and kindness.

Gabriel, the Housekeeping Manager, and Adriana from housekeeping truly made a difference in our stay. They kept our room spotless and even left sweet notes of encouragement for our athletes, which was such a thoughtful touch after long days of competition.

Thank you to the entire Hyatt House staff for such a wonderful stay! We’re already looking forward to coming back next year for Nationals.

Do not stay here if you hope to partake in the breakfast and plan to go to Disneyland early to beat the crowds (it's generally recommended to arrive at Disney security no later than 7am, but breakfast is not served on the weekends at this Hyatt until 7am). Very inconvenient. Our tiny family suite (albeit clean) was not worth the cost when having to buy breakfast separately.

We asked for plastic utensils and she went above and beyond to obtain some for us. The complementary breakfast was filling and really good. This definitely makes us want to come back and stay here!

Wonderful 3 night stay at Hyatt House in Anaheim. It was a great base for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. We rope dropped to the parks each morning, about a 10-15 minute walk to the bag check and security check. We were able to take the shuttle from the Toy Story Shuttle but it’s about the same amount of time to walk directly.

There was a king bed, bunk bed and a pull out sofa. There were 2 tvs, a microwave and fridge. Members get 2 bottles of water. Downstairs was Starbucks and Walgreens.
The breakfast was decent. We were able to pack some bagels and fruit while we waited for rope drop at 8am. In the afternoon when it was too hot, we came back to the hotel to rest and use the pool.

We used the laundry service, $3 for wash and $2 to dry per load.

We would stay here again!
