Cute, friendly and cozy. Nice breakfast included as well as cookie in the evening. Beds are so -so but I'm picky. Mostly quiet. Rooms are small but serve their purpose. A good deal for the price. Easy access right off I-8. Several dining options within walking distance. Has a pool.

Room is basic but well kept. Breakfast is not much but included in the price; make sure you get there before 9 because they take everything away, and are not shy about telling you this. Surprisingly inviting and cozy lobby, coffee always available. Loved the resident cat! Staff is helpful but not overly knowledgeable about the area.

Place was very nice. Evening crew at the front desk were super with information. Rooms were clean. Located within walking distance of eating establishments and grocery store. Breakfast is nothing special but O.K..

The room was exceptionally clean and the bed comfortable. We had everything we needed. The WiFi connection was super. Comparable to that at home. Just two small concerns...1) once, our key cards did not work and had to go to front desk to reprogram them. 2) The headboard slapped against the wall with the slightest movement. Would stay here again... More

This hotel was incredibly clean and fresh! The lobby was festive for the holiday season. We also enjoyed the Mexican restaurant that was a short walk away. Even though this was close to Highway 8, our room was very quiet.

Put Ayres Lodge in Alpine on your list of places to stay. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. There are restaurants near and the town is cute and quaint. Nice breakfast selections, coffee and water in the comfortable lobby and the staff is very pleasant. And, many rooms are pet friends (with deposit).

Perfect place to stay. As you pull up on the drive way you smell the clean fresh air. The staff is awaiting you with a smile offering you hot coffee and freshly baked cookies. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. Recommend highly and worth the short drive from the San Diego Area.
