I had to stay here for a business trip and couldn’t be more happy with this place. Brand new hotel with all the amenities. Nice pool area and great meeting rooms. Staff is friendly. Highly recommend. Didn’t feel like I was at a Courtyard Marriott.
This was a quick stay for us but it fulfilled everything we needed. Easy access from parking lot to hotel. Courteous staff and satisfying although limited to-go breakfast. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room temperature easily adjusted without any noise. The only drawback was we were located in the back of the property and on occasion we heard dogs from the next door animal shelter. This hotel is easily accessible to the freeway and nestled against the foothills. You can't go wrong here.
Dirty hotel practically on the freeway. Room dirty. Shower had dried gunk and hair from previous guest. Ewww. Dog hair all over chair. Urine puddles in elevator, presumably from a dog(s). Spider in the bed! Plus two spiders in bathroom. Staff unprofessional and gossipy about guests. Karl had a temper and expressed unhappiness in his job. Markesha was flat out rude a few times, and no follow through. For example, she said clean towels will be brought to room but it never happened. She said "Oh I got busy and forgot"in an unfriendly tone. Tv (and Internet) glitchy. Power went off a couple of times and lost a computer doc. Woken up very early in the morning by a guest sitting on floor in the hallway, yelling and swearing on his cellphone for a long time, and not wearing a Covid required mask. Seemed like mostly construction workers staying there, and hotel seemed very empty…
Needing an escape from my own place and the heat, I discovered this lovely brand new Marriott in Agoura Hills. They have a huge salt-water pool! I felt it was a safe place to stay with Marriott protocols in place. As always, the Marriott bed was so comfortable and I loved the decor of the hotel. The staff was bend-over-backyards accommodating, especially managers Wendy and Josh. I also appreciated that the stairs were wide and easily accessible which I used instead of the elevator. The area is great for hiking and biking. Just a short drive over the mountains and you are at Malibu Beaches. I'll be back.
