This hotel is located in what appears to be hotel row. We arrive very late and just needed somewhere to stay and I’ve always liked the Hilton brand. The hotel did not disappoint. We had two very comfortable beds and a clean bathroom and were able to get back on the road in the morning. I wish I could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the breakfast but had to leave. I would stay again.

This is my first time staying here and I'm very impressed. Right when you walk into the hotel you can feel the positive vibes. Mikayla was the one that checked us in and she was so bubbly and welcoming. I could tell right off the back it was going to be a great stay. Bar was open downstairs and everyone seemed happy. The pool was super nice. They limited how many people could go into the pool for our safety. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks to the amazing staff, and the safety I feel when I'm there.

I stayed here for one night in December I flew in for a wedding. I remember when this property was built as I used to live in the area at the time, so its an older property. The rooms need to be updated, the bathroom was very outdated but it was clean. The only issue we had was the morning we were leaving the housekeeper knocked on our door at 9 a.m. and asked us to check out so they could clean the room. Our flight home wasn't until after 12 so we intended to stay until check out time before heading to the airport. This seems to be the trend in many hotels lately, they are short staffed in the housekeeping department and they want to get started on cleaning rooms. I've worked for Hilton brands before so I get it, but I don't excuse it. I will be returning last weekend of January for another event, this hotel is well priced compared to other hotels in the area so I am taking another chance on it, this time for two nights. I hope they earn a higher rating this next time.

We stayed a for a week. The room was never cleaned. I don’t have to have the room cleaned everyday, but after the second day I called and requested the room cleaned. After being gone all day, we returned to the room not being cleaned. Again the next day before leaving I stopped by the front desk and explained that I had requested the room be cleaned yesterday but it wasn’t, so could they cleaned today. I was told they only clean the rooms every 5 days because of Covid unless requested. Ok maybe short staffed, ok. Regarded again after being gone all day and the room was still not cleaned. We again called the front desk to complain and ask for fresh towels and to have the trash emptied. Then we started noticing how dirty the rest of the hotel was. This place is going downhill fast. And I don’t know if Covid is a legitimate excuse or just due to poor management. They don’t serve breakfast and their hot order menu is ridiculously expensive. $16 for a burger. If you have the unfortunate experience to stay here, walk across the street to Culver’s for a burger. You will save money and it tastes better.

I would not recommend staying here.

Vehicle was keyed in parking lot. Front desk people seem to not give a damn about what happened. The breakfast hostess was rude! Breakfast is not complimentary - you still have to pay a fee. I will not stay here again.

I won’t ever stay at a Hilton Garden In. Again. You guys have zero hospitality! I can stay at any Marriott establishment any I get free coffee, water, over the top friendliness and accommodations. You guys charged me $8 for two yogurts, no complementary ANYTHING and your staff was stuffy. So, thanks but NEVER AGAIN!!! Maybe have your CEO/CFO/GMs venture out to some actual nice hotels that actually get it and have them take notes!

There was a roach in my room, security was sent to my room to kill it because I was not prepared to have to kill a large bug. My 2 year old child was sleeping the room. Fortunately the security guard killed the roach, unfortunately I have not received the call I requested from Management regarding a concession of some sort due to the grotesque inconvenience. Lynette was on duty when I called the matter in and her customer service was absolutely terrible, she did not apologize or even express understanding my inconvenience and disgust. She was very dismissive and she was over-talking me. She is a horrible representation of this brand. Bobby on the other-hand is great he was very helpful during my check-in process and very accommodating.

We stayed at this property in April for 3 nights. We were moved from the 1 bedroom Homewood Suites to this Garden Inn with no explanation and no offer of comps or lower cost since we were giving up a 1 bedroom suite for one-room. Very disappointing as we preferred a 1 bedroom suite for this length of stay and had reserved Homewood Suites for 4 nights several months in advance. Plus the Garden Inns do not offer any amenities such as free coffee in the lobby and take out breakfast items. This Garden Inn is in very much need of updating. The beds were too soft, pillows in bad shape. Room was dark and dinghy. Due to condition of this property, we shortened our stay to 3 nights. We would have left after the first night but were in Avondale to visit family and had commitments for family events. Customer Service at front desk was great!

The employees were very friendly and welcoming. But the bathroom reeked of mold, I did not want to use the bathroom in my room. Breakfast isn’t included which is disappointing for the price. They didn’t have any signs to indicate that the cold breakfast wasn’t included. The waitress was very snippy letting me know that it was “a continental breakfast but not complimentary”

We were greeted by masked attendants, our room was ready and waiting. The refrigerator was on and the room temp was set. The room was neat and the bedding was clean. We had coffee available in our room and breakfast was served in the dining room from 7 AM to 10 AM. The Hilton Garden Inn was situated for easy access to the freeway.
