The rooms are just that...no frills. ..requested no smoking room...which it wasn't. Rooms are clean, has microwave and refrigerator. But it is close to everything around and is value motel. With every room you get a 15 dollar credit for the restaurant. ..make sure you use the voucher. .the breakfast is good..

Yes, the room was dated, but it had a clean bed and a hot shower. The restaurant was great, and the staff absolutely wonderful. Enjoyed a great 3-day stay with my parents, as the hotel is in a great location to explore the area.

We stayed here a couple of nights since I was going fishing out of Anchor pt. and there are not many lodging options. The place is basically a dump and it has not been remodeled since about 1940. Only good thing is they gave $15 per night at the restraunt across the street which is actually pretty good food.

The owners are accommodating and the restaurant is decent but the rooms smelled heavily of smoke despite the non-smoking signs. I was sick with a sinus headache the next morning from the smell. The furniture upholstery is terribly soiled and the curtains and sheets were stained with everything from bar-be-que sauce to what appeared to be bodily fluids including mucus...

It's a little place. There aren't many options in Anchor Point. It's a little dumpy and stained. I'm glad to have a roof over my head, but I'm a little squized out. The place is run down, which is fine. The carpets are stained, the bathroom linoleum old, the lamp shade pealing. All ok. Not great. But ok. I can...

My wife and I came to Alaska for a surprise birthday party for her sister. We flew up a few days early so I could get in some fishing. We did not want to stay in Homer for fear that her sister might see us, so, we stayed two nights at the Anchor River Inn. The price was great and...

Thanks, nice place to stay with charming people and close to Homer. It has free wifi, and it has the cheapest price from Anchor Point to Homer. They gave us an offer to get 15$ of discount in their restaurant. Our room was preety clean and confortable. There is a small market next to it.

The room smelled terrible. Cigarette burns on carpet, dark and dingy. Noisy with liquor store and grocery store open late right outside. Had to unplug the clock to watch the TV. Bed spread smelled terrible. Ended up bringing in my own bedding.

While planning our trip our plans changed. I had booked a room here for two nights and the evening before we were to arrive, my husband got on a fishing charter in Homer. With a 6am time to be at the boat, and road construction between the two towns, we didn't want to chance it. This was his birthday gift...

My wife and I lived in Anchor point some years back and knew the Anchor from back then. The food was good back then and the rooms were clean. We went down to visit old friends this last weekend and were very disappointed in both the room and the restaurant. The room stunk like urine. Carpets were stained to attest...

At the Anchor River Inn we strive to provide each guest exceptional value for their dollar. When this guest mentioned to one of our staff at the store that there was an unpleasant odor in the room, I was immediately notified. Our front desk staff asked the guest if we could move them to another room but the guest declined...
