This was sad because the campground is very nice and the restrooms and shower facility more than adequate. After arriving (I was tent camping), I paid and was given directions to a camp site, which I thought I followed. I put up my tent and laid out my gear about 3 PM. I then drove around what appeared to be...

Several family members and I took off on an adventure pulling campers, pop ups and some in lowly tents. We had family members in Central Georgia excited to meet us for a long weekend. We thought we were starting our camping season off good! Not so.....the first thing they did was insist that our tent campers camp on the other...

Made a quick trip to Atmore, AL and elected to stay at Magnolia Branch Wildlife Reserve. First the signage is awful coming from 31 - and do not follow your Garmin...at least ours had us turn into a logging road. We were pulling our jeep behind our 32' MH - had to unhook the jeep and slowly turn back onto...

Nice campground, gravel, level sites most have lakeview.Almost all sites have some shade. We caught small bass, nice shellcracker in lake. In summer, lake and river swimming. River looked swift in some spots. Bathrooms were clean. You can have a campfire, but bring your own barbecue. David's Catfish twenty minutes away and yummy. Con- I did not see any type of marked...

I RARELY, if ever give a 5 star review! We pulled up at the Magnolia Branch Reserve Wildlife RV place after hours. We had followed another app to a cow pasture and had to drive another hour in a thunderstorm pulling a travel trailer for the first time at night. The gates were closed, however there was a sign with...

This camp spot is not my favorite but I think if you have kids there will be more interest... There is nothing wrong with this campground it's well maintained & has the creek to swim , float, tube or soak in... The extra activities can get pricey but overall it's a clean safe place... You can bring horses to ride...

I had an idea that this was going to be interesting from the first phone call. I have been an avid camper for 48 YEARS and have never camped in a place that tents had to be all the way over to the other side of the reserve (next to the horse stables) and almost a mile away from the...

We had an awesome visit today! We took our boys (12 and 10) tubing and packed a picnic lunch, too. You just can't beat the price (small entrance fee and just $5 a person to tube!). Campground was clean and staff were friendly. Tip: We went on a weekday morning and had the place just about to ourselves! VERY family...
