There is something about saying, "I get to DJ across the street from the White House". As someone whose grown up in the DC area, you can lose sight of how cool it is to be in DC, around the monuments and all the little things that bring people to our Nation's Capitol. The staff did a terrific job turning... More

I had a vey nice experience at the Willard. The hotel is dripping with history and you have a sense that many historic negotiations have been completed here. The lobby is old school Washington and very charming. The location at 14th and Pennsylvania is fabulous and close to the White House, the Capital, the Washington Monument and the Smithsonian Museums. We love the Willard due to its location to the Mall, the White House and museums. Ford's Theater, the Spy Museum, all just a couple blocks away. There is a Metro station nearby that allows easy and inexpensive travel to the Zoo and other DC sights. The rooms are VERY big and the service is always top notch. Join InterContinental's... More

We stayed here for a wedding (which helped with the cost). When you stay here, you are surrounded by history. And the hotel is very convenient to many of the historical sites/museums/memorials! The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, and the beds are extremely comfortable (especially after a long day of touring). Free Wifi if... More

Had a fantastic experience at the Willard. It was my first time in DC, and I feel it was the best location to the sights as I walk everywhere (National Mall, Ford theater, shopping, restaurants). It took 35 minutes to walk to Foggy Bottom area. Check-in and check-out was great service, and I was appreciative to be granted a later... More

The hotel is beautiful and rooms nice. I had a package with breakfast included. Each day ordered basic breakfast buffet. On my bill they charged me over $9.00 each day. When I questioned they said it was tax and money over breakfast allowance. If breakfast was included in rate hadn't I already paid tax ? And did a luxury hotel... More

I arrived on Sunday night at 1:00 am when all was so quiet and the desk clerk was promptly waiting for me and assigned Room 839 to me which had two queens, rather than one king. I did not think that mattered I was alone. Room 839 is bigger than most rooms I have had - it had lots of... More

W were delighted to find this lovely restaurant after a long day seeing Washington sights so much so that we visited it on 3 occasions. I have stayed elsewhere in Washington before and passed the Willard Hotel wishing I had stayed there. I have just had the opportunity to do just that and I am so glad I did. This is an elegant, historic hotel that retains that feeling of a glorious past but has been kept up with the times. My room was extremely... More
