One night stays are challenging. Lots to do in a short time so quick responses and a friendly, responsive staff are key to a good stay. The Willard came through with both. No wait at reception. 5:30 am room service. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. All the lights worked and a very clean room with wireless and lots of... More

Great staff, responsive, excellent health club, good room (claimed to be a "view room" but if only half a view of the Washington Monument is a "view". well guess it was, not by my standards. Good stay. small lobby with a lot of activity. $35 breakfast was a bit pricey. But good food.

I'm writing this review while still at the hotel. This is a beautiful hotel and you can't beat the location. But the reason I'm giving this hotel 5 stars is because the great service I received from Cristina at the front desk! She is amazing. I went downstairs to ask about wifi and Cristina noticed a mistake on my reservation... More

Lovely hotel at Christmas with all its glorious splendor. Attention to detail clearly shows in all the decorations. Cafe could use a second barista. Had the bouillabaisse in the restaurant which was delicious. Bar could give a more generous pour. Overall the service was excellent.

We ate at the Willard with a friend who worked in the area many years ago and had fond memories of wonderful meals there. She wanted us to experience the history of the place as well as elegant dining. She'd made reservations for the 'main dining room' which she believed to be on the main floor. However the dining rooms... More

Perhaps expectations got the better of me. I can't find any faults with my stay but I was not blown away either. Check-in staff was great and offered nice advice on the area. Room was spacious and clean. Location definitely can't be beat. I think my biggest grievance was walking past the bell desk and not once being acknowledged in... More

Hello traveling world. To start I want to say I travel for a living and stay in the finest hotels around the world. I was excited to be back at the Willard for an event I was running, that was until I got there. Our event service manager Linda never warned our end client or anybody from the production that... My wife and our 3 little kids stayed here over Thanksgiving. The staff could not have treated us better-everything from check-in, room service, helping with all of our luggage with a smile-A to Z. Made our first family trip to DC an enjoyable and memorable one for sure. Can't beat the location, either!

This is a must if you have the opportunity while visiting D.C. Great lobby, comfortable rooms and cozy bar. Lots of history has and does occur in and around this Washington mainstay. Located just steps from the White House and numerous landmarks and government offices.
