This was our second stay at the Hay-Adams. I cannot find the words to express how happy I am with this hotel and the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The Concierge was wonderful. He made dinner reservations, helped us obtain Nationals tickets, gave us tips on where to go and how to get there. We were celebrating my...

I went to a wedding here at the hotel.(9th floor) Talk about service! These people bend over backwards for guests and it's greatly noticed. The food at the wedding was awesome! The only negative and why I didn't give 5 stars is the walls/doors are very thin and you will be woken up by neighbors beside or above. Also a...

Dear Taytay123, Thank you for your review; I am delighted to hear that you had fun at the wedding you attended on Top of the Hay. I apologies for the excessive noise emanating from the other guest rooms; and for the malfunctioning of your TV during your stay. Please know the TV is fixed and we have put a note...

This was our second visit to the Hay Adams in 3 years. We returned because it simply was such a special hotel. It has a very calming and caring atmosphere as well as the most amazing location. In particular it has an amazing concierge service. Franziska helped me so much she organised me not only in Washington but in Baltimore,...

I was lucky enough to tag onto my partner's business trip and stay here. This true Washington elegance and hospitality. Everyone has gone out of his or her way to be gracious and accommodating. The employees show so much pride in where they work, each is an ambassador of the hotel. George the banquet manager showed us the spectacular view...

We like everything about The Hay Adams. It is a beautiful, sophisticated hotel with a location in view of the White House. A hotel like this can afford to hire the best people and it shows in every department of the property. We especially like the restaurant there. It excels on several levels, and is a quiet oasis in a...

The white glove service, impeccable meal and ornate and welcoming rooms are just what you expect from a 5-star hotel, a stone's throw from the White House. Pricey, but well located and well worth it. Eating there is sublime. But, to mix things up a bit, walk over to Old Ebbitt Grill. Great seafood and an old time tradition!
