After spending several nights the hotel had perfect views over the White House, Executive Office building, Washington Monument and Jefferson Monument. The room was comfortable although more comfortable seating would be nice. Everything you would need was present even in the classic building. Service was exceptional and friendly. The dining room service was friendly and well done. The Off The...

Very nice hotel with great location. Expensive, but what isn't in Washington D.C. Stayed at Marriot Marquis for two nights for Business meeting, then three nights at HAY-ADAMS.Wanted the location and prestige of a smaller luxury hotel. Overall physical make-up of hotel is good, but not great. The service is EXCELLENT,next to none and I have stayed at luxury hotels around the...

My hubby and I had our first weekend to ourselves without our kids in months so we decided to take advantage by going to a classy Bar at Hay Adam's Hotel. We found out about this bar from trip advisor (even though we live in northern virginia.) I can honestly say I've never ever been to a bar like this....

The Hay-Adams is exceptional -- even among the upper tier hotels. From check in to housekeeping to valets to room service to management, everyone was of the highest professionalism. Attention to every detail was fabulous and entire staff was of a "can do" and "guests first" attitude. Loved my stay. Room and public areas are simply beautiful Tip: my new...

Expect to find elegant surroundings with fine service from a friendly staff. This hotel has the closest proximity to the White House as well as the significant venues and monuments in Washington. Try and get up to the 9th floor for a panoramic view of the White House and St. John's Church. Does not disappoint.

We had our daughter,s wedding at the Hay-Adams about 3 weeks ago. I am still in awe of this fabulous hotel and their caring, friendly, and professional staff. Even though the hotel is the ultimate in luxury and sophistication, it is somehow not stuffy and so welcoming. The food was the best we've had in D.C., even though it was...

This place is very upscale. The building appears to be very old. The doorman said that President Obama stayed there for 2 weeks once. Everything here was pretty nice and the location is great. It's right across from an old church and you can see the White House. Also a cool story that it is haunted. Pretty nice.

Had a work outing here at the top floor and boy were the views incredible. The room itself was very pretty, the staff were all very nice and appetizers served were quite good. The lobby of the hotel was very beautiful as well. It's a short walk to the White House from here, as well.

The Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington DC is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed. we just returned from a three night visit to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We wanted to find a nice hotel with close proximity to the White House. The Hay-Adams is as close as you can find, literally across the street from Lafayette Park. The...
