We stay here for the service and the location, close to Georgetown yet far enough away from the noise and bustle. The rooms are comfortable although I'm not a big fan of the famed designer who has created some interesting visuals that aren't always the most practical for a guest (ie poor placement of bedside reading lights).

They nail it at the Park Hyatt the moment you check in. These are service professionals. Smooth check in. Lucky to be upgraded to an even larger more luxurious room than we booked. Kind and smiling and on top of everything. Concierge was out when we checked in late, but reception host dove into our request for help with dinner... More

I've stayed at about ten different hotels in DC, and this is my favorite one. Located in Georgetown, it's a bit further than other hotels to central DC (White House area), but it is definitely a more relaxing location without the hustle and bustle and tourists. The rooms are very modern and very nice, although the closet is a bit small.

Thank Dave R
