This is not a hotel of the level of Marriott it is a factory where no hotel service was offered. It was supposed to be a memorable stay in as we were celebrating our 25 anniversary it became a destination to avoid as it was for the Fairfield inn in New York City another even worse nightmare. To the point that on the return stay we booked in the Hilton across the street We are over 50 years of age and traveled the world. At least with motels such ad motel 6 snd 8 you get what you pay for. Bonvoy and Marriott is a big Hoax Sorry for this review but it is well deserved

Great one night stay in DC on our way down to southern Virginia. Friendly staff and location is equidistant from charming Georgetown and DuPont Circle. Super comfortable bed and clean room. The hotel garage is very secure—note that you need to hold on to your room key card to access and exit the garage, even after check out. Noise / neighboring doors opening/closing can be heard from the hallway as there isn’t a sound blocking alcove between the bedroom area and hotel room door. There seemed to be an excitable bachelorette party going on down the hall, but not a deal breaker by any means. For the price and location, would definitely stay again!

Would not recommend. I am a Titanium Elite member with Marriott which is one of their highest tiers of membership and this trip makes me rethink the entire value of investing in the program. Initially, the stay started off well but quickly took a turn. I arrived to the room to find hair and candy shoved into the corners of the bed. I called the front desk and was able to moved to a different room only to be greeted with a new room riddled with remnants I have a previous guest in the bed, in the shower, on the phone, and on the floor. When walking into the room I found the backing of an ear ring, then there was an eyelash placed on the room phone, there was hair inside of one of the beds, and hair inside of the shower. I am convinced that the housekeeping staff does not clean the rooms and the guarantee of experiencing a superior clean room in the mist of COVID-19 is not executed. If you are saying in the DC area rethink this hotel or prepare to bring your own cleaning supplies.

Spent a week with my husband and our our teenage daughter. This is a newer hotel with clean, modern, average sized room and a very small bathroom. Everything worked in the room and the stay was comfortable but there’s nothing special to speak of. I am a Platinum member& and we had no problem accessing the M Club lounge until the last day of our stay. We were stopped at the entrance and were told to go to the front desk to pay for the extra person. I am a long time SPG and now Marriott member and I am fully aware of the “written” policy of access for up 2 person/room. I can also understand the policy is there to prevent abuse. But I have not run into any hotel that’s not flexible about this, especially when the “extra person” is a child. I would have shrugged off the incident if we were told in a courteous, pleasant manner, but that wasn’t the case. This incident completely ruined our experience. We visit Georgetown often and this Marriott is now the one hotel I avoid.
