I booked mine after the status change but not knowing that it changed. They wouldn’t honor the old gold status for me. There’s really no reason for me to stay at Marriotts anymore. I don’t care about a higher floor which some think is an upgraded room.

There is not a variety of drink products in the room other than water and the coffee dispenser. However, there is a Starbucks in the lobby area where you can purchase a variety of coffee drinks and teas to take up to your room

Is it possible to get a cot added to the room?
I can’t imagine that you would not be able to get a cot....the hotel staff were very accommodating during my last trip. I do recommend that you give them a call ahead of your travel plans.
