Northwest New Jersey
Reviewed 14 September 2012 via mobile

This hotel is only two blocks from the Metro station, which was a plus because we were traveling by train from New Jersey. It is only a few blocks from the White House, the Washington Monument, the Old Post Office, and many other attractions. This hotel is 98 years old and you can definitely tell! We ended up with an...

I love the price, and the location. From previous reviews I worried about the A/C, but it was fine. The windows would even open. A bit noisy when nearby doors opened, but not a problem. It was very clean. Hot water took minutes to warm up, but I got used to that.

The hotel was built in 1914 and I am pretty sure that much of it hasn't been changed ever since. While this may add some charm to some, it definitely won't be seen as a desirable feature for most. The rooms show the normal wear and tear, which means a lot for a 98 years old hotel. The doors are...

The Harrington was wonderful and dog friendly. It is centered down town so we were able to walk to just about everywhere. The parking was free. It would stay here again. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Recommend to traveling families.

This hotel is a gem that was built in 1914. The room was simple but, large and clean. They have 2 venues inside the hotel to eat which means you can get a meal even late in the evening. One evening the kitchen was having some problem with their venting system so they could not serve food cooked on the...

This hotel reminds me of some of the older hotels I have stayed in while in London. Black & white check tile in the bathroom, older fixtures and furniture, but very clean. The location couldn't be beat though nor could the price. It is not luxury in the least, but it served our purpose. We were in town for 3...

We were at W-DC at the end of july, I booked online while at the R. Regan word trade center a room for 4, 2 adults and 2 children, but when we ckecked in, after 30 minutes ( the hotel is in a strategic position to visit the white house and the mall), .... overbooking! The room had already been...

Amazing hotel with great staff. Room's were inexpensive, clean and complete with a microwave and fridge. The first floor of the hotel has a typical pub with great food and cheap drinks, we ate here many times during our stay. It is also close to the major sights of Washington as well as many other restaurants and attractions. We actually...

This hotel is perfect for someone on a budget, as DC hotels can be quite pricey! It's not updated (since I've been) and the rooms are small, BUT it was perfect for the price and if you plan on not being in the room a lot (ie. touring/business). The location is fabulous, just a block from the nearest metro stop...
