Positives: location; gym; Starbucks in lobby; great beds; friendly staff especially the housecleaners, front desk and concierge Negatives: rooms on the small and expensive side for what you get; given the vast number of rooms, there are too few concierge and other staff; lack of views, especially the atrium rooms.

Spent 4 nights in this property. Badly needs updating. Poor restaurant on site. Limited food choices. Rooms are noisy. Good internet service. Carpet worn, mattress broken down & bathroom yuck. Hotel is centrally located - near where my business location was - why picked it. I can't recommend this hotel.

I really wanted to like this hotel. Overall it is clean but definitely overpriced for what they offer. The towels are super worn, they offer very, very basic toiletries and on one occasion it took three phone calls and speaking to the housekeeping manager to get my room cleaned at 8:30pm after a long day working. It is conveniently located...

Cubes, the in-house restaurant has mouth watering food. Hotel is very clean, convenient to most locations in the city. Quite for a quick business meeting. Every so often, you may be woken up by a dump truck backing up while collecting garbage downstairs in the street - nothing you can ignore and fall right back to sleep. Perfect for the...

The Grand Hyatt was a great selection for my first trip to DC! I wanted someplace central to the many tourist sites as well as a known hotel-I can always expect a level of higher quality from a Hyatt Property. This did not disappoint. The hotel is clean, modern and the lobby area is a nice place to sit and...
