We could hardly find this place. It is tucked into a little nook among two story row houses. Very small drive and entry. Cozy. Very European. The room is of average size. Smallish bath. Nothing special. However, fabulous location. I highly recommend this little gem. We were on third floor just over entrance. Smell of smokers below was annoying. The...

I've reviewed this hotel positively before but on this visit came to the conclusion that it really needs an update. The room I had was massive but inconvenient in layout. The closet and bathroom were round a corner from the bed. The bath had been re-surfaced but the resurfacing was scraping off. It didn't help that I was charged $300...

Dear Bernadette P., Thank You for Your Review! Whenever staying with us if you find a specific room layout to be preferable, please feel free to include the request in your booking. I will ensure my team looks into the mentioned resurfacing of the tub to rectify this. In the future, please let us know of any discomfort immediately so...

ideal for anyone interested in attending events at The Kennedy Center. The property is a short walk away. Rooms are simply appointed, but clean and spacious. Several Washington tourist attractions are fairly close. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant has a limited menu, but the two times I ate there, the food was good. In a largely residential...

My daughter and I were in DC for college visits. The University Inn is ideally situated - walking distance to GW and the metro but away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is small and in need of some renovation but the staff was exceedingly pleasant and helpful. The room was larger than expected and very comfortable. There is...

Older hotel with large clean rooms and comfortable beds. Convenient attached restaurant and bar. 2 blocks from GW Hospital and the metro, easy access from the airport via Metro. Would definitely stay again.

This inn was very old and dated. However, it was very close to the subway - blue line and george washington university. Very weird about the room is the thick portion of the curtain (it had double layers) do not move and stock at the sides. There is no complete privacy protection. It had very very old mini microwave and...

We stayed here because our son was visiting colleges. This is right in Foggy Bottom, 5 minute walk to GW and the Metro. Easily walkable to Lincoln Memorial and National Mall. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Adrianna and Jamie were exceptional during our stay. We will stay here again when we are in DC!

The hotel is in a very nice, quiet residential area, yet just a few blocks to George Washington University and about a mile to Georgetown. We had a one bedroom with pull out couch and kitchenette. It seemed more like a former small apartment then a hotel room. Very comfortable. My only issues were two stains on the living room...

Thank You for Your Review. We are happy to see that you had a successful stay college hunting in DC. You did touch on a nice piece of history about our property, it was previously converted from an apartment building layout into a hotel. The result of this, is of course out large suites and studios. We invite you and...

Excellent location, comfortable, clean and roomy. I appreciated the plush towels and quality bedding. Nice cozy bar, residential neighborhood. Could use some updating, but for the money, it was an outstanding value.

Everything was excellent. Room was huge. Great location. Very very nice employees. I'm pretty sure they upgraded me for free because I had a bedroom, living room, and kitchenette. The building is very classy and clean.
