I'd love to come back, repeatedly. Maybe next year for the same trade show. I hope so. The George has excellent service, a huge comfortable bed. nice airy, well decorated room, lovely toiletries, a great shower, excellent a la carte breakfast... but it's expensive. I suppose you get what you pay for.

We live locally and stayed here for one night to celebrate my birthday. The doorman and front desk staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. The room was large and quiet even though it faced the street. The location is perfect because it's on a quiet side street that is right in the heart of Georgetown. Overall a wonderful experience to...

From the smiling doorman to the highly personable front desk; from the bar man in the Alex to the breakfast wait staff everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Much larger room than anticipated with super comfortable bed and nice separate seating area. Location is perfect for the Georgetown area and it's on a quite street...

We stayed here one night while touring Georgetown University. Chose a king with a pullout sofa, which was perfect for two adults and a teen. TONS of space. The room was immaculate and the king bed extremely comfortable. The front desk staff was both friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The location is fantastic. It's easy to see all of...

Our room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast the next morning, which we had prepaid for, was a disaster. We ordered (with only 2 other seated tables in the dining area) and 25 minutes later were still waiting on our food. As we had a time restraint we went up to our room and...

Spent two nights here...great location in Georgetown, very close to White House and Mall area/Museums as well. Fantastic Jazz Bar in the basement with some unique cocktails. Front desk and bellman were very nice. Great size to the room, a suite without the suite cost. We'll definitely be back.

My husband, two teenage sons and I stayed at the Graham for 3 nights while we took a college trip to DC. We had a King suite which offers a King sized bed and a King sized pullout sofa (as stated on the website). Since I was traveling with 2 teenagers, I was happy to see a king sized pull...

This. Boutique hotel offers wonderful amenities in a small space. The rooms are tight but well appointed. Don't miss the speakeasy Jazz club in the basement is a throwback to prohibition time with the right atmosphere. The staff is very warm and cheerful. Great central location for walking and shopping in Georgetown.

My daughter and I stayed at the Graham during a long weekend in DC. The front desk was so friendly and helpful in every respect. They checked us in early, provided plates and forks for our takeout Chinese dinner and refunded thebin-room movie price when I had trouble with the remote. The hotel is clean and we'll-appointed. Love the L'Occitane...

Had a very romantic weekend planned and this lovely, luxury boutique hotel was the perfect weekend get-away. Named for Alexander Graham Bell, there are neat little indicators of his influence throughout the property, including Victorian photos in the bar downstairs. The staff were absolutely fantastic, helping us secure our bikes, providing flawless check-in and high-touch service at every turn. They...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to The Graham, where cultured sophistication meets modern luxury in one of the most refined residential hotels in Georgetown DC. Named after famous Georgetown resident Alexander Graham Bell, inventor of the telephone, our Georgetown hotel draws inspiration from Bell's inventiveness and consummate poise, offering a mix of innovative style and gracious service that fit naturally with the spirit of the neighborhood. Nestled along the banks of the Potomac River, The Graham sits in the heart of DC's most affluent and historic area. Our central Georgetown location makes it easy to walk around this intimate neighborhood, home to important landmarks and historic estates, prestigious universities, and numerous independent shops and restaurants. Georgetown University, George Washington University, Washington Harbour, the Kennedy Center, and the National Cathedral are all located nearby, and the area itself is within close proximity to downtown Washington D.C. When the day is over, retreat to one of our Georgetown hotel's 57 guestroom and suites, stylish and spacious with luxurious residential comforts and amenities designed for the discerning guest, including complimentary Wi-fi and a 24-hour fitness center. Experience our new craft cocktail cellar and small-plate dining concept The Alex, and afterwards head up to The Observatory, The Graham's open air rooftop bar and lounge, to take in one of the most stunning views of our nation's capital-martini and cigar in hand, of course. ... more   less
